I’m getting into trying out some pheromones. I’ve already got some A314 for the office, and plan on getting some instant shine soon. Can anybody recommend whether I should get 1X or 2X? Also same question with ammo.

2x IS is a good start - you seldom use just one spray.
Ammo is more difficult - at 29, you are at the upper end of the age range where the 1x is best and the lower end of where the 2x becomes more usable.
A lot would depend on the age range of who you are trying to attract - If they are mid 20s or below, then stick to the 1x but late 20s and over is into the 2x territory.
It might still be best to find your sweet spot with the 1x, then go-up to 2x if the number of sprays works out.
A bit more info about your situation, who you want to attract and your range of opportunities to use pheros will help get you better advice and get you the GC to help get started. 
I’m 29, male, live in Austin Texas. I’m interested in pheromones for the self effects as well as helping to give off certain vibes for different situations. I play music, so anything that can contribute to that mysterious vibe as well as a confident vibe would be great. Also I guess attracting women between 25 and 35 would be a bonus. I don’t expect it to do all the work for me though.

Phero self effects are highly variable - both between individuals and individual pheros - and you can adapt to them quite quickly so that’s not entirely a reason to choose them. I’d suggest you more look on any effects as a pleasant bonus that supports more tangible efforts to improve/project yourself.
Otherwise, that’s a good choice and with that age range, the 2x Ammo is looking much more viable.
IS is a good choice all-round but another one to consider here is MX297 - I’ve always seen it as a true entertainer’s phero but it would depend on the music and your performing style. More fun/dancing/wild abandon, yes but more serious/thoughtful miso stuff would benefit from some A314 or A314/IS behind Ammo in the Mix. I’ve had some pretty wild nights performing on both.
