My first post! I’m a 33 y/o male in the California bay area. I stumbled across this site while getting ready to make a purchase of Alter Ego. I’ve been using Alter Ego for a while and I’ve had some good results. But after reading some of the postings on this site and seeing the wealth of information here (from just browsing a handful of posts), I felt compelled to become a member and to check out some of these other products. This appears to be a great forum where people generally respect one another and that’s quite refreshing. I’m looking forward to trying out some of the products and mixes that have been discussed.
Ah, you arrived here as I did, aware of pheromones and ready to experiment. The products are amazing! I was pleasantly surprised by more noticeable reactions from my husband, family and friends and of course in myself. I have not been exposed to the mens products, but, I love spritzing unisex Instant Shine, it makes me more alert and lifts mood of both myself and husband.
Welcome to the forums! Is alter ego the only pheromone you have tried? The selection here is great. When I first joined I thought that pheros were only about attraction and seduction. Of course, there is that to it but I had no idea how many other situations pheros could be useful in.
How did you get on with the ego, you say you got some results? Have you decided what you would like to try from here. I’m pretty new but I absolutely adore Instant Sexiness and Instant Shine. But I guess it depends what effects you are looking for.
People here are really helpful and great at sharing their experiences with all of the products, and not just the ones sold here. So, if you need have any questions just holler. The amount of knowledge available here is phenomenal!
Pretty much alter ego is the only pheromone I tried, well actually a long long time ago I tried some other pheromone product but it was TERRIBLE. I don’t remember the name, but the thing that made it so awful was that it was basically a cologne type product and had a very strong smell – stronger than any cologne or perfume I’ve ever smelled. I’m not really into wearing cologne and I’m a somewhat sensitive to strong smells, so whatever that stuff was – I just couldn’t deal with it. So I gave it up. Then a couple years later, I tried alter ego. With the Alter Ego I had some results in the sense that on different occasions I found that it was much easier to meet and socialize with women (even though I am really quite shy). So now that my AE is almost gone, I’m ready to purchase some more either AE or something else.
Now reading through the forums here, I think I’m going to try some of the products here. But I’m actually having a little difficulty trying to decide.
Firstly, as I said before, I’m not into perfuming and I can be sensitive to strong smells so I’m really looking for something that doesn’t have any smell or just has a very mild smell. Secondly, I’m looking for something that will help with drawing attention to myself – but not in a bad way (such as what can happen with strong smelling cologne). I’m looking for something that will make women more drawn to me and want to approach me more. Finally, I’m looking for something that will help with will help increase my perceived sexiness and create a little bit of positive tension on occasion.
So I’m considering Instant Openness, Instant Shine, Instant Female Magic, and Turn Up the Heat. But I can’t get all of these and it doesn’t seem like there is any one product that will meet my wishlist.
If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions (that won’t break the bank) or can comment on the smell of these products, I would love to hear them.
The default scents are a light neroli, it is described as orange. To me it smells clean like a bar of soap. It does fade after a bit. I do not know if the pheromones are detectable in the mens products, a light cover scent might be required for your own peace of mind. Sometimes we smell the pheromones more so as the wearer than others. Instant Shine does not need a cover scent, I doubt Openness would either.
People vary in their ability to smell certain pheromones. Shine is probably the prime example. It smells strongly to some people, hardly at all to others.
Thank you. I have only used the To Go which I understand are a bit lighter than a full size bottle. I’ve also been assuming the pheromones I do smell are IS/a.
but I had no idea how many other situations pheros could be useful in.
