Hi everyone
I’ll be honest: I’m saying hi, because I’m looking forward to my $15, which I will use right away towards a purchase! However, since I’m already typing away, (and having read some of the other newbies’ posts), I might as well share my comments too.
First of all, I wish I did my research and found this site before making my Pherlure purchase. I just got that order yesterday, and after reading many of the experience remarks here, I am seeing how I fell for the clever marketing.
I’ll still give the product a chance to prove itself, though, because as others have stated in the forum, I’m sure I am inexperienced at reading responses (especially when not knowing what kind of response to expect). Here is my experience so far…
First day: came home from work at lunch, opened my package, tried the stuff on, ate, attracted a wasp outside on my back deck. It desperately followed me wherever I went, and chased me into the house. It left me worried that I might get swarmed one day, should I happen to pass by a nest. After I took note of that, I went back to work. One of the girls at work seemed dazed and confused whenever I came near her. I’m not sure if it was having an affect her, or if she was just in dire need of coffee.
Last night: went to the mall, saw two girls walking straight ahead, engaged in deep conversation. I crossed directly in front of them within two feet, stopped in front of a store, and walked in. They followed me in (their original path was not directed at that store). In the store, they stayed near me, though they were focused on each other and their conversation. I left the store after a few minutes, and they left a few seconds after me. I paid no further attention to them, and I pressed on. They did not follow me after that, and I got no further indications in the mall (though, on a Monday night, there were not very many people, let alone females, at the mall).
I went to my karate class after, worked up a sweat. The women in the class were not particularly flirty (which is the reaction I thought I should be looking for), though they were rather chatty with me. We chat a lot in class, as it is very small, so I can’t tell if anything was different. At the end of class, there was more chatting (standing about, hanging around), when we should have been getting ready to go home (we normally go straight to the change rooms once class ends). I sat down on the floor, and the three women around me all followed suit and sat down too (one was the head instructor that night), as did the one other male. During the class, one of the new girls that I was paired up with held onto my wrist for an unusually extended period of time, but I cannot say whether she would have done that even if I wasn’t wearing the Pherlure, as we were learning something (though there was no need for her to hold onto my wrist - and I didn’t pull away). She wasn’t flirting either.
Today: wore it to work. Wanted to see what the reactions from the females and the males would be (i.e.: would I be shown a little more respect, etc). One girl was talking to me more than she normally does, and in a better mood than she normally is too. But, who knows… maybe she was in a good mood. Another girl came by my area a few times to ask me to help her with things (more than she usually does), but again, we are always very busy, so I can’t read into that one. I made sure to stand near her whenever I was around her, but I did not notice any difference in the way she talks to me. Dazed and confused girl was the same again today, but again, maybe she is burning out or was in desperate need of coffee. One of the older ladies, yummy mummy, was really eager to help me with something I needed from her today. Normally she is stressed out and in a bad mood. Was she just in a good mood, or did the Pherlure have an effect? - I wouldn’t be able to tell.
Tonight: went to my aviation groundschool class; put some more on just before. The class is 95% male, but there are a few females in class and who work at the front desk at the airport. Noticed no reactions from the females. A couple of the guys whom I normally don’t talk to were keen to strike up a conversation with me.
Effects on me: I feel a little dizzy/dazed myself after a fresh application. Not sure if something funny is going on, or if it is just a minor allergic reaction to the scent, as my allergies can be triggered by some perfumes or colognes.
I haven’t used it enough to see if it works or not. The ‘reactions’ in the above settings and situations were so subtle, that they could have been caused by the Pherlure, or could have simply been ‘normal’ behavior. The fact that I am looking for a ‘reaction’ (and not knowing exactly what I should be looking for) makes it difficult to make any distinctions.
Tomorrow I have the opportunity to spend some time with a girl that I am mad about, and I will definitely be spraying it on just before I see her. If anything, I hope it doesn’t make her run away!
I will definitely do some more research on this site to see what people’s experiences are with the various products, and make a purchase soon. It will be good to compare. Any suggestions would help!
