I thought I had poison oak but it looks like its AMMO causing a read raised itchy rash on the applied area (inner arm where it bends). From what I read there is nothing I can do but use some blocking cream, but that will kill or lessen the affects of AMMO.
I am bummed that I must be allergic to something in the product. The rash lasts for like a week.
I guess that means I will be allergic to TUTH?
If I spray ammo in my hair then it won’t work well, correct?
No, this may not mean you will be allergic to TUTH.
Ammo is in FF21 scent, which IME can cause irritation/reddening and for me a stumping headache if worn for more than a couple of hours. So to avoid this, I normally get it in FF22 (World Edition) scent, which has no irritation issues for me at all.
TUTH is in 6% Neroli, a light orange blossom scent which is one of the best tolerated/least irritating of all AD scents.
AD will almost certainly refund/exchange your Ammo - or give you a credit towards future orders if you get in touch with them and explain you had a skin reaction.
Thanks. I will see what they can do for me.
I would either see if you can change out for maybe Summer Ammo or they do offer a service to also change the scent of some products if you are interested if you want to stay with regular Ammo and here is the link.
I have reported a lot on the different scent options and just what I thought of them and what some others did to and put them in my journal if you are interested. This may be an option to just change the scent of the Ammo.
Did the rash happen more than once?
Applying Ammo to the hair is not a good idea. Altough it’s possible to do that with other products like IShine, Ammo proves to be much harder to wash out from the hair. That is tru for TUTH also and all -none based products.
