HI deruku, the theory of pheromones is that they are picked up by a small organ in the nasal passages called the VNO. the signals are then sent to the brain (subconsciously) which reacts accordingly.
Have a look at the new user’s section, read the stickies, particularly the “how do I get the $25 gift certificate” thread. Then come back here and post a couple of paragraphs telling us about you, your goals and personality etc. That way you get a big enough gift certificate to buy a couple of sample ( to go) bottles and test the theory for yourself

Pheromones are actually the byproduct (for the most part) of hormones. But they are relaesed from your body like scents and carry very specific messages. Exactly how they are detected (by scent) is debated.
Androtics is a company that produces synthetic hormones - that are the same as the ones your body produces. By wearing these synthetic pheromones, you amplify the natural message they send out and stand out in the crowd.
The key is that the messages the pheromones send are only suggestions. It is not like the insect world where they determine behavior. People are very free to decide whether they will act on those meassages or not. It is usually up to you get those others to act on those messages.

Ok I guess I will just start with the basics

Well I am currently looking in self improvment I am starting to get my life back on track. I have gone though some hard times in the past few years with family issues and a few rocky relationships. I am currently trying to improve my life by losing all of the extra weight and I would also like gain a little upper hand on getting the girl that I like.
I first learned about pheromones in an anatomy book that myfather has, I personaly think that it over stated the powerpheromones and this is what I would like to find out for myself.
I am usualy a self relaying person, Why bother someone else if you can do it your self, while at the same time I am kinda shy. I tend not to open up to most people except a few close friends. The reason I want to try pheromones would be to help me open up so I can be more assertive in my regular life.

I am shy and tend to rely only on my self, I would like to be able to open up and talk to people easier.
I use to be a book nerd and was always by my self and never really devloped any real social skills and now I want to find what I lost out on.

Given your age and all the other information you have given us I would recommend:

Alright guys a bit more info for you, I have recently been asking some of my girl firneds what it was about me that never alowed me to get a date or hold on to a long term relationship and they all prety much said the same thing to me.
They all said that I give off the just friends vibe and when they are around me they can only think of family, I am not sure that this has anything to do with pheramones but I am just taking in to mind how all the girls said the same thing. They verry in age from 15-23 and the races are asian, black, white, and a few others I am not even sure about.
