To be honest, I’m a bad opener. It takes a while (usually a short-lived friendship or deep conversation) before a gal “discovers” me and then tries to keep me to herself. It’s a drawn-out process against the odds!
People tend to read me as “mysterious” and, while it helps get me in with some types, it severely hinders with others. I’m a warm, affectionate guy who wants to come off a little bolder and shatter those icy facades.
IO would be great for that. Makes people chatty and works to sort of break down any barriers that might be preventing conversation. Its considered a great ice breaker.
You also might want to try instant shine. Its a mone that helps the user and those around him feel good, sometimes making them more outgoing and willing to socialize.

Instant openness is a great product for allowing others to be chatty around you and for breaking the ice yes. I am a girl so I don’t need that , infact I never try being forward I like to be chased.

Mysterious is great, we women find that intriguing, since you seem to not be so up on your game I guess you don’t know how to work that.
