I’d love to help recommend you some phero’s to try but it’s a lot easier for us to do if we know a bit more about your and your personality. How would you describe yourself? How do you relate to others?
Could you tell us abit about what you hope to use phero’s for as well? Is it for general social situations, dating, family & friends, work etc? Do you have any specific targets in mind?

I am usually a very friendly person and make friends easily. People I make friends with usually turn out to be long term relationships.
However my challenge seems to be in the dating scenario. I have trouble attracting the kind of guys I am interested in. The ones I attract are not usually the ones I am interested in. I have been talking to someone who seems very interesting and am hoping to have some help before I meet him in person. I am hoping that he will feel keen interest or at the least feels compelled to take the time to get to know me more.

I would suggest you go for something with a li’ll sexy flair but not overtly sexual in combination with some good social phero’s…
To increase sexiness I’d recommend one of the Instant Sexiness phero’s. There’s two versions, IS/a and IS/b. The IS/a is a stronger, more dominant alpha like sexiness, and it’s often compared to Angelina Joli. IS/b is more mellow and feminine/girly sexy, a bit kittenish like Marilyn Monroe. Both are awesome and the choice depends on your personality and what vibe you want to give off, but I would lean towards IS/b as you sound like you are looking for a more subtle sexy vibe and getting to know this man better first?
To help improve communication, in particular with that special someone, and make it more intimate I’d suggest Instant Honesty. IH is great in that it helps increase the quality of communication. It’ll make you and the person you’re talking to feel more comfortable and it gives a sense of closeness to the conversation. It’s not the choice for quick chats though…IH tends to make conversations last longer too.

I am also in my 40’s, and have just started here recently as well. I am still testing out the products I have which are:
Instant Sexiness/A (gives a dominant, not-quite bitchy aura),
Instant Honesty 2x (promotes confidences and deeper conversations).
Instant Shine 2x (promotes youth and energy),
MX 300 (gives an aura of capability and respect) and
MX 135 (makes people more drawn to you)
First think about the impression you want him to have of you when you first meet him in person. Because often, the initial impression is the one that people judge their following impressions on.
Do you want to appear soft and vulnerable? Would you rather project an air of strong sexy confidence? Or maybe come off kind of bitchy? LOL (just kidding!!) (some people find this reaction from combining IS/A and MX300, but personally, I like it )
You will probably want to try out each product you have separately (before you meet him), so that you can feel comfortable with the effects of each one, and be able to properly plan the impression you wish to give.
Then, after your initial “impressioning” of your TG, then maybe use more sexual products to lead things where you want them to go (if thats where you want to go 
)

The best thing I can suggest is to explore the forum, which I am still in the process of doing.
There are tons of good combos posted by forum members, its just a matter of unearthing them.
There are some that are kind of organized, such as Kitten’s Curious Combos (posted as a sticky) in the Women’s section, and others that are kind of scattered, and its just a matter of coming upon the as you read through threads.

Do women use the ones that are meant for men ? I thought I saw in some of the posts that some of the women were using pheromones that were showing as being for men. Is the reaction for women the same as what men get ? Just curious.

There are only a few that women can use along with men. I think the ones you mean are Instant Shine, Instant Honesty and Instant Openness ( atleast I hope so )
These contain much more Androstenol rather than certain male-only products that base from Androstenone. This means that these phero’s have much more to do with communication rather sexual. So its okay to use these products as a woman too!
Oh right ! And also, Lust After me isnt available because they’re currently working on a newer, better formula for cops (which is in Lust For Me) so its really a matter of waiting for them. Meanwhile, I believe there is some trace cops in the Instant Sexiness you purchased.

I’ve seen quite a few woman mention EoW…where do you get it and when do you use it ?

Well, EoW has had quite abit of controversy floating around it at this time. Apparently they are messing around with the formula alot - so most of the really good hits you’ve probably seen around the forum in terms of old mixes, are from the OLD strong EOW’s. Just something to keep in mind if you DO decide to buy it.
Again, the EOW works - just not as well as it use to.
But if you totally can’t wait, I believe you can buy it at Love-scent.com.
Now, as far as using it - I myself personally just use the dropper attached to the bottle. For example, I will put 6 drops of EOW on wrists. Then I’ll wait for it to dry down. ( Usually I give it 10-15 minutes - the newer ones dry down quickly however ) Then, to cover the smell that Im sure you heard of, I’ll spray a cover-up ( a perfume usually ) on top of it. It helps to spray perfumes on the sweeter side, to help balance out that wacky smell.
Another way is to use it is a rollerball attachment - this allows for more precise application. But this does take some experimentation.

An awesome idea is to read this one first. This is Tish’s (our bangin’ leader) post on how to report, etc. You don’t have to necessarily follow these guidelines but it’s just to help you along if you’re having trouble.
This is the section that you can post your reports on. There’s ALOT of interesting information about phero’s in this section alone so if you ever wanna check stickies, threads, journals, this is a good place to go (though Tish probably wouldnt recommend reading TOO much. It’ll skew your opinions):
