Hiya,
I’m new to the pheromone world but I’m excited to start experimenting! I recently just made my first purchase (Instant sexiness B, Instant Shine, and Instant Honesty) after spending hours scouring the forums and I’m so thrilled to try them out. I will definitely try them out and post about my endeavors. I’d like to thank all the experienced users for posting such informative insights on the effects of each product - they were super helpful in guiding my decisions!
My name is Jenn, I’m 21 and attending school in California. I’m ridiculously awkward which makes it hard for me to meet people, and I’d rather not depend on alcohol has my social lubricant as I’ve seen how messy that can get for my peers. I’m hoping pheromones will give me the confidence boost I need to just get in there and TALK to people!
[edit]
I’ve decided to add a little more about myself to procrastinate doing my chem HW (model student, lemme tell ya).
I’m a petite Asian girl that doesn’t really have trouble getting attention for her looks, but my innate awkwardness kind of stops things from progressing any further. I’ve been told that I’m “intimidating” and hard to approach because I’m so quiet and because I “barely even look at people.” The truth is: I don’t look at people because I DREAD the awkward stare that could ensue when people look up and realize you’re looking at them and I’m quiet because I don’t know how to initiate conversation! I’ve been criticized for “avoiding” social gatherings but I’m just uncomfortable inviting myself along to things! In college, it seems that everybody is comfortable just casually walking into each others’ dorms and striking up conversations but I feel like I’m intruding unless I’m outright invited in. All this, combined with the fact that I’m a complete dork (studying all the time, stereotypical, I know) and I’m fairly good looking makes people think that I’m stuck up when really, I’m just shy and I wish people would just approach me! Generally, once someone else comes to talk to me first, I’m pretty alright in conversation. The trouble is, the “fuck off” vibe is strong in this one (unintentionally!!!).
Then again, once I DO start talking to people I can’t stop thinking about all the things I could be doing wrong. Where should my hands be? Am I laughing too much? What the hell should I talk about? You know the feeling when you don’t know what to say but you CAN’T STOP TALKING? Well, that’s basically the story of my life. So there’s the problem: I ward people off with my cold-as-ice “charm” and once they do start talking to me, my self consciousness makes me a complete idiot.
Did I mention I just got out of a 4.5yr relationship? Yeah. That might be relevant. I have NO IDEA how to date/flirt/attract guys that I don’t know. I mean ZERO, like if The Other Sister and Chandler (from Friends) adopted a kid from China and raised it in their socially awkward image, that kid would be me. I’m that bad.
I’m really good with the close friends I’ve made during the year. When I’m comfortable with people I can be really funny and witty, I don’t say stupid things (as much), and I’m successfully flirty. But who wants to flirt with only the boys in your social group anyway? I’m hoping that the 'mones will give me that little bit of a confidence boost to block out the shy-comatose-idiot-Jenn and help me bring comfortable-funny-cute-Jenn into social situations and help me meet new people!
