Well hello, this is a time for me to actually jump and try the pheromone effect for myself. I have been lurking around for about a month now, reading a bunch of studies and text about people using such product and what it entailed.
I have come to the conclusion that this product is something I would like to try out having the state of mind that nothing is magic, but that is basically a form of ‘social lubricant’ if I can say it that way. I am still very new to this and doesn’t know what to expect. My goals is mostly to experiment with various stuff and see what fit.
I am newly interested in having a nice scent when going out, and dressing up sharply (better than my old jeans and long sleeved shirt from before) when going to some events. I was mostly wondering if most pheromone product are odourless or not? I guess it is written on the website but I still need to fiddle around a bit more.
For the moment, I will continue to get more knowledge but will get my hands on the starter pack for men. All the product there seems interesting and will be a better way for me to figure it out.
Thanks for all the information and for being active, it is nice to see a community like that and didn’t expect to find such intensity and so many well spoken people here, it is nice to read you all!
You’re right in the ballpark about getting the Men’s Starter Pack. Just a few notes about what you’re looking for.
Social lubricant - IO is your go-to product for this. It’ll get people to open up to you, and make them more willing let you open up to them. Add IShine to the mix for a happier atmosphere, although IO is a “happy” product by design.
Odorless - not quite. Most men’s products have a light neroli scent. It’s comparable to orange/citrus. For a brand name cologne that smells similar, it would be Clinique Happy, only much lighter. The neroli gets overpowered easily even by deodorant, so don’t worry about the smell.
Actually, I am happy about the not odorless part. I saw somewhere that some people do actually mix with other cologne; is it a hard thing to pull off right and is there simple guideline or suggestion around that (Maybe a thread I could refer to I suppose..).
I also wondered if there is any information about ODing using pheromone (I guess if you mix stuff there could be a chance you just use too much)? I saw the concept and didn’t quite grasp it or how to actually know if its happening / solve it. I had the understanding that it basically just mean that using too much seem to nullify the effect but I couldn’t find a straight answer on that.
Anyway, thanks for your time, looking forward to get more involved!
I’ll address this too. Most products containing the word “instant” in the name have a virtually zero risk of OD’ing. The worst you’ll get is the law of diminishing returns setting in.
The only products where OD’ing is a real danger are anything containing androstenone. In excessive amounts, they will trigger aggression in men and avoidance in women. Products that contain it are Ammo, TUTH, and IJ, listed from lowest to highest. Be especially careful with IJ.
You can also OD on androsterone, found in Ammo, IG, and A314 (lowest to highest), but the dangers are much milder: just ghosting (being tuned out) or loss of product effectiveness. MX’s and P’s may or may not have OD risks, but they’re more advanced, and I don’t recommend them for you at this point, with possible exceptions of MX297 (fun/party) or P96 (emotional closeness).
I totally agree here and you are spot on and have done your home work. It is best to pick a product and test solo and find your sweet spot and go from there. What I still like to do is pick a main pheromone for my goal like dating I use Ammo and then try other things with it and for work/business I use A314 and build off of that one.
You have to think about your environment and what your goal is and try to wear the right pheromone for that.
As far as scent Attractor nailed it and the only one that is hard to use a cover scent is Ammo because it is a strong scent and is cologne strength already. A lot of us do use a cover scent and you can just hit the search button and a bunch of threads will come up. I find the key is to not use cheap colognes and try to look up the ingredients in whatever you use because you don’t want any anti-bacteria’s in there or they may interfere with the pheromones.
If you have any other questions feel free to ask and we are here to support and help you.
You can find that GC lying peacefully in your inbox right now. Check your spam folder if you can’t find it there.
Happy Pheroing!
================ Disclosure: I’ve edited your thread title from “Hi, new and finally making the move to get in this!” to “Hi! Pheromones to experiment with various stuff and see what fit. M/26” for topic clarity and forum readability. It’ll also generate more “reads” to your thread. If you want to opt-out simply let me know. Thank you!
The only cologne I have really tried is Midnight for Men by Bath&Body Works and it does a really good job with Neroli. It clashed with Ammo scent though. I hope Conjurator, or maybe Jdub will come in and help out as they have a lot more experience with mixing cologne with pheromones.
I often use colognes as cover scent with pheromones. A lot of users do. The best and easiest way to go about this is to apply cologne to different spots than the actual mones. The lightly neroli-scented products are quite easily covered with just about any nearby cologne. Of course, you have to check for compatibility, because some fragrances might put up a fight or be incompatible, but it’s quite rare. Personnally, I have never considered mixing mones directly with colognes in bottles or ordering unscented mone and blending it in colognes. There are many reasons, I’ll stick to the main ones. 1- Colognes are oftenwise quite expensive, I prefer to respect their nobility and use them distinctly from mones. 2- Some bad interactions can occur by mixing mones directly with colognes. Some colognes have antiseptic properties. In other cases, you’ll mix the cologne and mones in a bottle. Everything will be great for a few days, then after two weeks for some esoteric chemical reasons, the scent turns into a funky mess, you’ll have wasted an expensive cologne and not less expensive mones that you’ll have to trash. Applying to separate spots is the key in my opinion.
I’m just browsing the carts and then I noticed that your intro GC is still active. Apparently, you haven’t started your pheromone journey with us yet.
I took the liberty to find out why and I discovered that you don’t have an account in the store(smartmones.com). Perhaps that’s the reason why you can’t use the code if ever you have tried using it a year ago.
Anyway, if you want to reconsider on taking the pheromone journey, don’t forget to create an account first in the store. You will be needing it to place an order. And yeah, our molecules are now in Stealth(unscented diffusion tech), and we have our bestselling mixes in oils now too so, really, the best time to start your phero-adventures would be now.
Welcome Phil,
if you consider Pheros just a social lubricant and know they aren’t magic then I think you’re set to be pretty impressed.
I personally call it somewhere in-between with the experiences I’ve had being pretty incredible.
I hope to hear more from you on your journey.
Please stick around the forums and tell your experiences when you try the mones. I’m 27, and we need more regulars around our age.
Best wished Phil!
