I am new to this forum. This is a very interesting site. I am glad I found it. I have a question about cover fragrances. I use the by Hermes and Cartier and I wanted to know if they will clash with pheros like IS/A or LAM. Can I use any parfum of my choice or do I have to use only certain ones? I have a large collection of expensive parfums and I still want to be able to use them without a problem. Can I spray them right on top of the pheros after they dry down or do I need to spray the parfum on different places? Please advise. Thanks.
You can definitely do exactly what you’ve described with the colognes you own. The neroli scent found in many of the social pheros blends well with most anything (in my experience, anyway). Not sure about Lust, I’m sure some gal will give you the lowdown on that one.
Welcome to the board hgirl, its always a pleasure to have another woman onboard. Most of the pheros scents drydown abit so you can use a cover. My wife uses armani (cant remember which one) to cover is/A. Give em a shot I think you will like.
Again warm welcome.
Um…I haven’t heard of those parfumes, but imo nothing clashes with is/a cause it’s neroli. And neroli blends well with anything imo or even by itself, I’ve never used a cover for it.
However, I understand your crisis with lam lol! it stinks, so you’ll need a heavy cover scent. Light floral stuff wont work, I use eow, and I’ve found that anything with vanilla (i.e. pink sugar) or any other foodie scents cover well.
Remember to give dry down time for lam though (10-20mins) or else you’ll smell the cops coming through.
Both Hermes and Cartier are excellent cologne lines, hgilr1 is already telling us she’s descerning, with class and style! As msselva says, it’s more likely the scents might not cover completely rather than clash.
It might help you to know that I had the same concern when I first got my pheros, I’ve never had an issue using cover scents yet. I find that most of the time, I prefer the phero/cologne mix to using a cologne solo. YMMV!
yeah, like selva i havent used any of the perfumes that uve mentioned but neroli is very very easy to cover up and it goes well with just about everything.
LAM gives me such a hard time also. i usually just mix it with one of my lotions and use it on the legs ONLY. then i spray myself with body mist and hope that nothing smells bad..haha
Yes you can use your own scents to cover pheromones products if you wish. Instant Sexiness comes in a neroli scent. It drys down light and blends with anything.
Spray your IS/A on and let it dry down a few minutes then use your scent choice. You can cover the application point or not its up to you.
Just a word of warning Lust After Me smells… well it smells like buttcheese LOL You will have to work with this one a little to learn to cover it right and to find the correct dosage for you. Dont panic it works like a charm and you can cover it.
Apply it to pulse points, Let it dry down for about 10 to 15 minutes (this is important) Then cover with your scent choice right on top. If you dont wait before covering you will notice the scent bleed through. No one else notices it but you will notice.
