I have been trying out the test mixes from the holiday goodie pack (MX207-MX215). MX215 is scent packet Energizing Grapefruit. It’s a very light scent, and quite honestly, I think the citrusy scent just barely covers up the pheromonal quality of what’s going on underneath.
Anyway, I was at my martial arts school today, and after a workout, I showered, re-dressed, and applied 3x MX215, all to chest/neck area. When I came up the stairs, a guy who I train with literally turned to face me, smiled and sort of babbled, then put out his hand for a high five. Although we are pleasant to each other in class, I don’t recall having much personal interaction with him at all. Although this was totally non-verbal, I’d say it was more interaction than we’ve ever had one to one, and especially outside of a class dynamic.
On my way home, I stopped by the deli to pick up a gallon on spring water. When I finished my purchase, a guy held open the door for me. Not that this never happens, but I was in a suit and wool overcoat looking very corporate, and he was about as street as they come. Not to say thug guys don’t hold the door for corporate ladies, but he made SURE that he held it open until I passed through. We stood next to each other in line at check out. Again, all this communication was non-verbal.
I have found with the test mixes my favorite scent package thus far is Coconut for quality of scent (MX212). I have experienced a BO situation with MX214 (chocolate cookie desert) and I find choclatini (MX213) to be a bit “sharp” and think it could use a little vanilla or amber to smooth it out. For dispertion, I’m really not sure which one is coming out ahead so far. I know Ail swears by Choclatini for IS/A dispersal. I’d love to see a woodier/spicier/less sweet mix for women.
ps: coconut + chocolatini together smell GREAT! takes the sharp edge off choclatini and makes coconut smell, well, less coconut-y
hi chirimoya- I just got a sample of mx 215 in my delivery—Do you know what it is-- or does? is it like an instant sexiness or someting else entirely— what is it used for???
According to Jasmin’s post from back when this pack was a holiday special, it is: 10.375mcg Alpha-Androstenol & 10.375mcg “Molecule A” in Energizing Grapefruit
Alpha Androstenol is the primary ingredient in Instant Openness, and provides a light-hearted, chatty atmosphere. Molecule A is TAA, which is the primary ingredient in Instant Shine–closes personal space; provides an uplifting feeling.
Today I am wearing MX214 (chocolate cookie scent packet). 3 sprays: one divided between wrists and rubbed under nose; one to top of head; one to chest/neck.
Here are some very interesting occurences that happened today:
In my weekly departmental group meeting, my boss’ boss, who is normally a pretty reserved guy, literally rocked back in his chair with exhuberant expression in response to a report I gave on a social event he and I both attended. We had different reactions to the event, which I believe were largerly cultural/language based (I work for a multi-national company). I liked the event; he thought it was trash. But as he told his side of the story, he was using big arm motions, big animated facial gestures, laughing heartily. My department went out to a belated birthday lunch for me today (4 women, more on that later) and at the end, we brought up the meeting again. They all said “we can’t believe he was acting like that! So unusual for him!”
Belated b’day lunch. We are a close group of four women ranging in ages from early-30s to mid-60s. We have good rapport in our group but since I joined the company about 5 months ago and we are now an all-female group, I believe we are getting even closer. Lunch time was all laughs and funny stories.
My co-worker was candid like you’d be around old friends telling stories about her weekend with her brother and sister-in-law. I even found myself saying some things that I might have ordinarily not said, but everyone laughed and my co-worker, about whose story I commented, laughed the hardest.
On the way back to work, we picked up a take-out menu for a restaurant that we thought my boss’ boss would HATE, and joked about sending it to him via inter-office mail, highlighting the dishes we thought he would find particularly offensive. It was like a big funny bonding session at lunch.
Going down the stairs after a meeting, my co-workers said, “hmmm I smell vanilla.” I think it may have been my chocolate cookie desert scent
Everyone was so smily, laughing, and in a great mood at lunch. I don’t think we have ever had so much fun amongst the four of us. We barely discussed work at all.
