HUGE! NASA will hold press conference: Life discovered off Earth!

NASA - NASA Sets News Conference on Astrobiology Discovery; Science Journal Has Embargoed Details Until 2 p.m. EST On Dec. 2

Wow, sounds exciting. Maybe it’s findings from the probe that blasted into the the Moon. Or was that not NASA?

There are rumors that they discovered life on Titan the moon not the football team. In fact they are still determining how the titans are still animated considering they are all dead.

Does this mean they have finally discovered intelligent life in this star system??

Your avatar has something to do with ET?
hmm… So does mine? Guess!?!

Them Nordic aliens people say exist and are opposed to the greys?

No idea about my avatar. Just liked the picture :o

I recognise your picture though. I believe it’s an artists impression of an alien that was alleged to have arrived on Earth sometime in the 60s. Or something to that effect…

If anyone is interested in this topic do a youtube search for Alex Collier. The ones I would recommend are the 1994 interview, 1996 at “The Ranch,” and then there are ones from '09 and '10.

Yeah, I noticed that right away. Pleadiens right?

yeah, from what I understand the greys are manipulative assholes. Apparently, it is the greys and beings from Alpha Draconas who are basically trying to enslave Earth because their whole thing is dominance and control. According to Mr. Collier the real culprits are the Alpha Draconans.

By the way, I’m sure they have known other life has existed for a while…it’s just now they’re finally telling the public. You’re right Steve, this is HUGE!!!

I assume you’re talking about bacteria and not intelligent life forms? There are rumours that the annoucment will be bacteria that thrives on arsenic on Titan.

Apparently they have discovered arsenic as a backbone to a new DNA type. Which could very well mean life elsewhere. But hey I already believe since I was abducted once

Bummer, it’s a microbe from Mono Lake (Ca.).:frowning: But it does substitute arsenic for phosphorous in its DNA.

Not Titan. California.

Which is really BS since that has been known for quite a while. Mono lake is a very interesting Man-Made disaster which only really proves that existing life survives. The real advances comes when they able to say they discovered a new life form that didn’t adapt, but already was.

I just hope that our pheromones work on these aliens. Otherwise, we’ll get blasted my their space disintegrator.

No, I wastalking about intelligent life forms. For some reason I thought the announcement was going to be more significant. Don’t get me wrong this discovery is big and exciting, but I was hoping for something along the lines of contact with a highly evolved race that could mentor us or maybe share some of their technology.

That’s insane, man!!! Would you please go into greater detail???

Yes, please do. We want to hear about the anal probe.

No anal probes but what happened that night was very strange! Maybe another time when I don’t have such a BIG headache. After all I totaled the BMW last night then just dropped $25K on a new jeep. F*CK ME it just makes me sick!

I’d say this is hardly a bummer. This has huge implications for where life could actually arise in the universe, as up to this point, we have been looking mainly at planets that have properties very similar to those of our own.

I wouldn’t downplay this so much. First, it was known that some bacteria could use arsenic in place of phosphorous in specific cellular processes like respiration, but the arsenic only stuck around long enough to carry out the chemistry necessary for the process. In this case, the arsenic is actually integrated into the cellular structures. For a while, scientists and sci-fi writers alike hypothesized about life derived from silicon instead of carbon, as silicon is analogous to carbon in many respects. However, various reaction properties of silicon make this unlikely. However, here we have an actual substitution and one that works. The fact that it is possible at all makes it significantly more likely that life could actually evolve under such conditions.

Well it’s already started and now the science community is saying this is poo and not good science afterall Doubts Brew About NASA’s New Arsenic Life | Wired Science | Wired.com
