Okay, I’ve been reading posts here and there and apparently there are members who have acute olfactory senses. These members stated that when pheros dry down, they smell bad. For example, Instant Female Magic is one and any -none based products except for Ammo I guess. Some members stated that certain pheros smell like piss.
Thing is, I don’t recognize that they smell bad. I sprayed them one by one, waited for them to dry, and took a whiff. Nothing that I noticed that would bother me. I’m, however, afraid others might think otherwise when they’re near me. I’m very self-conscious about my looks; I always dress sharp and try to portray a great image to everyone, which is why I got into pheros. In addition to using pheros, I also use four different colognes for cover scent: Issey Miyake, Emperio, Gio, and Chrome.
Does anyone have the same anxiety as I do? Maybe some of the adverse effects that I got from others might’ve been from foul odor instead of OD?
to ease my mind i always spray it to the back of my neck instead of the front. if i am going to be in others personal space or small rooms, or cars etc…
Well, that’s a very valid question… IMHO, Ammo smells fine for a few hours, or until I sweat. Then the smell of -none comes through to me. I personally think it kinda smells like… well.. the underside of a certain male appendage, to put it politely.
BUT, it’s not nearly as noticable to everyone else as you may think… Actually it can be a fantastic attractor scent, in small dosages.
Here’s where I get a lil dorky and explain this… HISTORY LESSON!
Back in the 20’s and 30’s, when a man went on a dtae with a woman he intended to get intimate with, he would take his hanky, and gently pat the underside of his hoo-hoo haa-haa, and put that hanky in his lapel pocket. When the couple would dance later in the evening, and the lady would rest her head on his shoulder during the slow songs, the man’s pheros from the hanky would get the female aroused, increasing his chances of being able to dance the horizontal mambo with her. Now, to us guys, that smell is god awful, right? I know it is for me, at least. BUT, since the ladies, especially the ovulating ones, have their sniffers hunting for a manly phero signature, then that scent may be appealing, or even sexually arousing in a big way for them.
Side Note: I tried this out at prom. yeah, I could smell that damn hanky all night. I was self conscious about it. Bad. But once me and her slow danced, and she had her head on my shoulder, with her nose about an inch from the hanky, she took several deep breaths, mentioned how fantastically I smelled, and then mentioned how she wasn’t that interested in staying at the prom any more, if ya know what I mean… And that’s before we started drinking. Oy, what a night.
I worried about the same thing when I first started using mones so I know how you feel. You wonder if people are looking at you because you stink or if the mones are working.
I am sure you have a few people close to you that you can ask. You dont need to tll them its mones but just say its a new colonge your trying and it smells weird to you and ask them what they think. Dont ask your mom though she will hate it because she will recognise that its not her sons natural signature even if she knows nothing about mones.
I can smell the mones in almost all the products I have but believe me unless someone in very familar with them they just dont recognise it and amazingly something that smells like butt cheese will have guys telling me I smell great. I am sure its the same for the men because I really love the smell of TUTH,
Tisha, sexy as always, dearest… Yeah, I was trying to avoid the term butt cheese, but that’s about right… lol. I can’t stand the smell of TUTH after it dries down… I think it smells like a giant stuck me inside his cup for an hour and ran hard. But it definitely does the trick for ladies…
when i first started playing with these, i was bartending and wanted to remain a comfortable person to be around, so i used the products lightly.
I was having fun and got ballsy, figured that I had the perfect audience-
alot of people who knew me and were regulars … and a fair crowd that was always new.
This way I could compare the reaction of people who know my signiture and those that dont.
I have made a million posts on that, but even when i used the funkiest of phero products, what i learned surprised even me-
it doesnt matter how funky the smell is if the product you are wearing is in the right dosage for you personally.
in other words, if what compliments my nature is to wear a specific amount of instant sexiness with a hint of A314, then i can smell like gasoline and it doesnt matter, because whatever compliments you personally smells good.

they dont have to be smelling like cologne to like them, you just do.
dont worry so much about the scent if you personally agree with it.
experimentation is important.
Snook, that’s some interesting history lesson. Male TUTH users tend to state that -none stinks, but ladies like Lor and Tisha tend to state that the smell is good. I guess the intended use of pheros and which gender it is targeted towards create different reactions. For instance, TUTH used to attract women tends to smell foul for men, but not for women. Vice versa for Instant Sexiness.
This gives me a little relief. Perhaps I should cut down on cover scents in fear of smelling bad when using pheros. Thank you all, everyone gets a rep point.
As I’ve said before, it’s not just what YOU feel about the scent, it’s how OTHERS react to the scent.
Like Lor sez, find what works for you confortably, and what gets the results you want. This applies to both the actual fragarance and the concentrattion/dosage (strength). Some go for a heavy scent, some for a light scent.
I know there are a lot of posts about “what the best cologne/perfume” is, but the fact of the matter is, is that just like most anything else in the world, there is no single “right” answer. What works for you may not be what works (or is “right”) for someone else. Same with pheromones too, especially the “combo” products like Chikara, Ammunition, Alter Ego, Pheromax, etc.
It all comes down to experimentation. And the realization that what worksfor you now amy not work for you later, as your body changes, your diet changes, etc.
