Aside from the reports I have written up, I’ve been doing enough testing with MX272 and P83 to have a pretty good handle on how they work for me - so today seemed like a good day to experiment with them together.
If nothing else, it certainly cemented my opinion of P83…

Self effects
I’m not minding the blend of scents – I get game and then an undertone of A314 (I think mine’s Akuto – love it ). I’m glad, though, that the Game in 272 and my P83 isn’t as powerful as in 292.
I feel quite cheerful and happy to chat, too. By normal standards I’ve had enough exposure to 272 not to feel self effects – maybe the P83 is making me keener to act on whatever almost un-noticeable self effect still remains. During the half hour before lunch I feel like I could get carried away into a conversation very easily and I’m trying to self – censor myself.
Effects to others
I applied at 12.15pm, giving the combo time to settle before my primary test period – my lunchbreak. As it happens, though, effects take place even whilst I’m sitting at my desk.
At 12.30pm one of my staff, male, early 40’s, wanders over for his usual brief chat about the footy this weekend. This is quite normal – a 2 or 3 minute natter about who’s going to win and then he wanders off.
Today, though, that 2 or 3 minutes is long enough exposure to make him reluctant to leave – in fact 25 minutes later we are still talking football and House Moving. If the conversation breaks he still just stands there smiling as though he wants to come up with something else to discuss.
At lunch it was just me and my two favourite work guinea pigs – and effects were almost immediate, lots of giggling, non stop talking and both of them danced up the escalators! At that point I thought things were going to get ridiculously fun, but once we sat down one took a serious phone call on her mobile and things remained a little more subdued after that. Still open, honest conversation, but without the hilarity that had ensued earlier on.
On the walk back from lunch, however, things turned giggly again and finished up with both girls singing in the lift.
Whilst there were no spectacular hits, this was probably the most fun I’ve had whilst testing reaction wise so far. Had that phone call not come in I think it would have been a very raucous hour!
I don’t think the addition of A314 had quite the effect I was after – as with most of my tests of 272, I didn’t sense any “centre of attention” effect – more that a good mood had been created all around me. I was aiming for the A314 ensuring that good mood was directly associated with me. I need to test this combo more with a higher dose of A314 or possibly None, but I certainly think the addition of P83 enhanced what I’ve seen from Mx272 previously. It makes a good social mix REALLY good. More on that below….
Duration of effects
An hour and a half to date – but now I’m back at my desk and working hard…….obviously ![]()
Range
3-6 feet
Time exposure
Less than 2 minutes in both cases. This is quicker than I have previously seen with MX272 and bears comment. I have stated in another report that I am one of the believers in P83 activating desire and focus, rather than being a “sexual” Putative. I don’t think it steers anything – it gets steered by other pheromones and/or your behaviour – but then really intensifies the “involvement” others feel once they catch onto that vibe.
In today’s case I think it reduced the required exposure time not through magnifying the 272, but by making people focus more heavily on whatever the 272 was doing to them.
I’m glad I bought a big bottle of P83. So much more potential to this and I think it should be in everything – as long as you don’t focus people on something negative!
