So i’ve been having those phone conversations with this lady for about 3 weeks now. She’s an official spokesperson. (seen on TV every once in a while, a stunner for my taste, easily a 9, about 36y.o)
The talks were mostly about work-related issues, you know, questions, answers kind of things with a few jokes around the corner, a couple of laughs every now and then.
The last couple of times, the talking got a bit more on the personal rather than on the professional level, although we did trade some information. Anyways, to cut a long story short, i told her let’s put a face on those emails and conversations/interviews and invited her for a coffee.
Turned out she didn’t live far away from me so i offered to pick her up, which she reluctantly agreed to.
Went home, had some dinner, rested, a shower and some nice casual-chic clothes. Although i in only wanted to go with A314, i cheekily convinced myself of putting on my instant boobing mix, just for the sake of testing.

i get to her place to pick her up 30 minutes after application, make quick short talk, but i immediately sensed she was electrified (if i had to qualify it, electrified in a bad way) we talked about work and other issues on our way but i never caught her looking at me. She was looking immediately in front of her, no right or left, just straight. Thought to myself that my mix may have gone askew on this one.
We get to the coffee place, she picks a comfy, isolated corner where only 3 young ladies are next by.
As we slid into our opposing sofa, “you must be pleased i chose this corner, with the eye candy for you,” she blurts slyly. “too young for my taste, but i’ll settle for it tonight,” i go. At that point i felt the ice broken, and we both begin to feel comfortable with each other’s presence.
Now the conversation was verging on the more serious issues, work, politics, colleagues, and then occasionally steering towards personal issues, only to be redressed again. Later, it got completely personal, a few laughters, smiles, thoughts… Thing is during all that time, which was by about an hour into out sit down, she only locked eyes with me once or twice. She was looking just past me, her head tilted a bit right (i was sitting exactly opposite her)and looking into nothingness (people going by on the street behind me).
Well our drinks and cakes are out, i ask her if she has anything planned, but told me she doesn’t so i offer her to get another coffee and she readily obliges.
Now nearly 70 minutes into this, she starts gazing into my eyes, looking directly into me. That dreamer gaze is completely gone, and there is plenty of visual interaction all the way till i drive her back during which we had lots of jokes and banters going around.
One more thing i noticed (after she started looking into my eyes) is that she was playing with a strand of her hair all the time she sat down, even when she was gazing away.
Shaky start, but gone into sure footing later on.
