This is something that I consistently get results with… sometimes they’re WOW results and sometimes they’re small, but they are definitely noticeable.

Self Effects:
I don’t really notice any huge self effects on myself, but I am generally pretty chatty and outgoing when I want to be to begin with. This seems to slightly enhance and maintain that, but it’s nothing incredibly dramatic.
Effects on others:
People initiated interaction and when I initiated it myself, they were friendly and conversational past the 3 second marker (aka “I love your shoes!” - “Thanks” - both keep walking).
Ex 1: One day, I was trying shoes on at Nordstroms and this lady walking by stopped and spent a good 30 seconds going on about how great the shoes looked on me.
Still at Nordstroms, I told a lady I liked her boots and we talked for about 3 minutes.
I went to another store and this guy started chatting me up for a good couple of minutes after he commented on my necklace.
All the salespeople were ridiculously chatty with me… I would slowly be walking away and they would still be talking to me.
At the restaurant, I had gotten a table and ordered drinks when my friend informed me that he couldn’t make it last minute. The waitress was a complete sweetheart, kept telling me how she couldn’t understand why this had happened since I was “so pretty” and that she was sure it would never happen again, and then she told me the drinks were on the house.
Ex 2: Another day, I was in Barnes & Nobles and this guy walks through the aisle I was in TWICE and then on the third time, he stops and starts a conversation with me. He literally stopped in the aisled, turned toward me, and started talking.
Later, I was at a cafe grabbing a bite to eat and the guy at the table next to me starts talking to me about where I work out (I was wearing gym clothes) and we proceed to have a 15 minute long conversation. Then, after about 10 minutes, as I’m getting ready to go, he starts the conversation back up again, this time about what I’m studying in school.
Salespeople EVERYWHERE are chatty as hell. I’d say one little thing to them and it was as if floodgates opened.
Distance: It was typically within 2 to 6 feet.
Duration: I’d say between 6 to 8 hours.
