Hey everyone.
Just discovered this forum/the whole Phero community and it’s intrigued me enough to give this stuff a try. (Nice to see a website like this that isn’t complete bullshit).
I’m and 18 year old guy and am currently attending a University as a sophomore on the East Coast. Looks wise I’m actually pretty good-looking, 6 feet tall, blonde hair, pale, and skinny. My personality is goofy and fun, and I can be pretty funny around my friends and people I’m comfortable with. However, as handsome as I may be now, I was a pretty ugly kid. When I hit puberty I got acne BAD. Like you couldn’t even see the skin on my cheeks or neck, and my back and chest were in pretty bad shape too. Being a bit overly sensitive as a little one, I became super shy and for a lot of my life I was just pissed off and felt victimized by everybody. But alas, I cleared up (thank you accutane) and decided that this was a shitty way to live. So around the beginning of my senior year of high school I gradually became less and less depressed as I made some more friends. Going to college was a big growing experience for me as well and Freshmen year was a time where I really learned to be more happy with myself and enjoy life. I’ve made a bunch of really great friends and have been enjoying my self thoroughly, but there’s still an element in my life that I feel is missing.
I don’t blame anyone anymore for having such a shitty miserable time growing up, but because I closed myself off so actively from the outside world for so long, I feel like I never really developed socially in important ways. My biggest problem is being unable to talk to girls, or just strangers in general. This is probably because I’m still terrified about the idea of sharing myself as a person. I’ve been making efforts to change that, and always try reminding myself all that stuff about confidence and what-not, but I feel like subconsciously there is just some barrier that keeps me from connecting with people on a personal level when I first meet them.
I won’t really go into specifics, but it generally takes about a month of continuous interaction before I feel REALLY comfortable around someone. I can try to act suave and cool and confident all I want, but I’m starting to realize that people can usually smell bullshit a mile away. And I’ve learned that there really isn’t anything wrong with my personality and sense of humor. I’m pretty smart and can actually keep a conversation going pretty well, but there’s always some vague social pressure in the back of my head like “don’t blow it” whenever I’m talking to new people that I can’t just think away. Lmao, at the risk of sounding cliched, you just have to get to know the real me.
I’m getting frustrated with my attempts at bettering myself and am starting to really just wish that I was different. Not in any kind of superficial way, but personality wise. I’ve been having a rough time socializing and I’m afraid my brain may just chemically function this way and wasn’t really sure what to do about it until I found this site.
After skimming through some of the threads about different -mones and -nones, and getting down the basics of what some of the different sprays do, I knew I had to give this a shot. As I’m sure it was with most of you, the prospect of getting laid easier was appealing, but what really sucked me in were the ones like Instant Shine, which just get people to open up and smile around you, which is something I would honest to god love so much. Just to be able to make people smile.
I’m pretty busy for the next week, and am holding off on ordering anything until then, but I’m excited to take some of these out for test runs, and would greatly appreciate any advice you guys have to give.
Lol so there’s a little look into my life. Hopefully you all enjoyed it enough to give $25 worth of free shit XD
Thanks,
TheGilroy
