How does the IS/a work towards the “geeky” guys? Just curious.![]()
I like is/a better. Is/b seems to just make me sad and invisible. I do seem to feel softer when I use it though. I was actually going to send mine back, but I am thinking I want to keep testing it in different situations to see what happens. A big part of that is because I LOVE mx135 which has a lot of is/b/tah i think. So I need to figure this one out. Maybe it is one of the products combined with is/b in mx135 that helps not sure… Inspector madison is on the case ![]()
Don’t mean to resurrect a long-gone thread, but I stumbled upon it by accident, and it looked cool. Anyway, since it’s year 2009, and it’s all about gender equality, looks I’ll be the first guy to contribute here. As someone who worked with computers his whole career, let me answer your question. I’d say it’ll get polarized reactions. Some geeky guys might find your IS/a pheromones a turn-on. They’re the ones who tend to be shy about approaching women, so a woman who takes initiative takes pressure off them, and makes their lives a whole lot more pleasant. Then again, perhaps IS/a will remind them of Counselor Troi from Star Trek (a common topic of interest for such guys). Other geeky guys might be intimidated by IS/a. Since a lot of them aren’t likely to have a lot of experience with women, a strong IS/a-type woman might seem intimidating to them. They’re the ones who prefer a quieter, softer girl. Luckily, they tend to think quite rationally, so you’ll seem less intimidating just by being respectful to them.
I had not seen this thread before. Thanks for bringing it to our attention again…there are a whole new bunch of ladies on the forum that weren’t here when this thread was new.
I agree with madison, when I wear IS/b I feel invisible. People who normally pay a lot of attention to me and are usually very considerate and flirty tend to ignore me when I wear IS/b. I have also determined that MX 135,235,335 give me the same results, so I am assuming that they are also TAH heavy.
IS/a makes me feel like the queen of desire fulfillment. I am confident, sweetly seductive, and a force to be reckoned with. I lose a lot of my inhibitions when wearing IS/a and it makes me feel as if there is no conquest that is unattainable. I also get very strong hits with it, across the gamut of ages, from teenagers to men in their declining years. It makes hubby more possessive and attentive, especially when paired with copulins. Definitely one of my favorite products.
I thought I was the only one that gets irritated with IS/B…I dunno why, but IS/B as well as MX135 causes me to be irritable, and I’ve read that tah tends to make most ladies on the forum more easygoing(?)
Wow…looks like more IS/b than IS/a. I probably should have put an option for both since several of us on here can wear both with good results.
well i havent tried is/a yet, but my is/b gave me an unforgettable night ![]()
I have only tried The Edge and Instant Shine. This weekend when I go to happy hour, at an outside bar, I want to try something else. I’m 44. Should I use IS/a or IS/b? I’m totally confused on what to use now. I"m totally new to the single scene (after 19 years) so I’m nervous to begin with and don’t want something that’s going to make me mellow, unnoticeable or edgy. Any suggestions? I also have EOW.
Again, I feel the need to chime in here. Dragonfly44, I think either one could work for you, but it depends on how you want people to respond to you. The official descriptions on this site reference Angelina Jolie for IS/a and Marylin Monroe for IS/b. Let me use my own examples. IS/a will make men want to high-five you and tell you “you rock!”, while IS/b will make men want to give you a hug and tell you that everything will be OK. Both responses, of course, will be combined with sexual attraction. Which one are you aiming for? Decide for yourself, and go with that. As for EOW, it will intensify the responses (a.k.a. hits) from either IS product you choose. If that’s your goal, go ahead and wear it. But use a cover; EOW has a strong smell.
Agreed. EOW should always be worn with a cover scent. Warm, sweet smells like vanilla or butterscotch work well, as well as anything sweet and fruity. I have good success with clean, verdant scents if they are in oil form.
IS/a or IS/b… the eternal dilemma for those just starting out. It seems as if you’ll be stuck with one or the other, but the truth is that you can use both, at different times, to enhance whatever mood you’re feeling on that day, or to bring out different personality traits.
IS/a is confident, strong and determined. It is an in-charge, womanly, seductress sort of sexy. When I wear this I have very little trouble approaching anyone, I am breezy cool and confident that I am alluring to men. It makes me want to strut, and makes me feel like I’m worthy of all this attention that is suddenly being paid to me.
IS/b is sweet, playful, more shy, girly kind of sexy. It invites the men around you to protect and care for you, makes you seem more demure and delicate. I personally can’t handle too much TAH, which is the molecule that makes IS/b this way. It makes me feel boring and invisible. But a lot of other ladies have greater results with it than with IS/a.
Try to figure out which one is more congruent with your personality. Are you naturally in charge of the situation more, or do you tend to let others lead? Do you find yourself melting into the background for comfort reasons, or do you stand out in a crowd? You will probably get the best results by wearing whichever one is closest to your natural self. If you’re a go-getter, wear IS/a. If you’re timid and shy, wear IS/b.
EOW will enhance whatever result you’re getting from the IS. It will seriously ramp up the sexiness factor, no matter what you pair it with. I get good results by wearing several drops in the cleavage area, covered with another scent. Then I apply IS/a or whatever I’m wearing to more open areas, such as wrists, neck, etc.
When you apply EOW, allow a dry-down period of 15-20 minutes. This will allow a lot of the strong scent to dissipate, and it will mellow out into a fruity sort of smell. Then put on your cover scent. If you cover too soon, the EOW will bleed through and you’ll smell very funky. Not yummy, just butt-cheesy. Eew!
The only way is to take a deep breath and plunge in. You can always go take a shower if it doesn’t work the way you want it to. Then try again. You’ll get it.
LOL. Thanks for all the advice! I can’t wait to try it out. I think I’m going to try IS/A first, with a little EOW thrown in the mix (since I’ll be outside). If nothing happens, next time I’ll try IS/B. I’m so nervous that I’ll smell terrible! I have a vanilla/coconut fragrance I just bought by Alyssa Ashley (I think) that I’ll wear over the EOW. I’ll let you know how it goes in my diary! Thank you again!
Try not to switch back and forth between products at first, just wear one until you have it figured out. You may not get any hits at first, or you might not notice them since you’re not accustomed to watching for them. I’d recommend using just IS/a for a few days at least, increasing your dose by one spray each time, until you notice hits. After you’ve got a handle on how much you need and what to expect from it, then try something else, or mix with EOW.
I prefer IS/A, dunno why but IS/B makes me a bit grumpy. IS/A seems to mesh better with my personality.
This thread had me thinking more about IS/B, so I tried it out last night. You can read my account HERE (Pirouette's Fun with Pheros - #29 by Pirouette). I usually use two sprays, but I used three last night. To me, the effects are subtle and not as dramatic as IS/A or MX 1-, 2-, 335. So I guess I lean more towards IS/A because of the self-effects and the reactions I get from people, men and women.
With IS/B, I notice that men study me more and are more attuned to my reactions, facial expressions, more reassuring, even kind of fatherly. Trying to make things easier for me. Whereas, with IS/A they notice me in a more positive way, are more accomodating, but in a more subservient/eager way, and just engage with me in a more energetic manner.
I posted about my IS/a experience under Dragonfly’s Diary. This stuff works!
Hey ladies! Just thought Id put in my 2 cents. I LOVE using Both at the same time but It depends on whatever aura I would prefer more of that day. Ex. If I want to have that Kick butt “Im a hot mama, and youd betta realize it” thing going on I might put 2-3 sprays of IS/a, BUT I will also put 1 spray of IS/b or TAH just to buffer it, or viceversa. Never one without the other. Ive been doing that with my last few test rounds and Its given me GREAT results.
IS/a girl. Tried again today with IS/b. Still no unusual reactions. I have gotten some pretty good hits with IS/a.
Rosegirl
Hmmm… That’s interesting! I never really thought of trying them at the same time. I will definitely have to experiment with that and see how it goes! Thanks for the idea
!
hi everyone. just got my new orders yesterday & currently trying out IS/B.
IS/B smell Great. may i know if that is the default scent, neroli? or its a diff scent?
its my first day trying, spray 4x on hair, once on each back of elbow.
any more tips?
IS/B for me. For some reason I’m just way too head strong while using IS/A. I can’t stop cursing out loud at work, seriously. I curse all the time…only under my breath. My boss noticed that the other day, he thinks it’s because I just turned 30 (it’s okay, he’s cool). I was always told that I seemed like an unnaproachable person. I can only arm myself with IS/A on special occasions.
IS/B makes me feel more playful and I get way more hits. My guy friend gets all cuddly when I wear it. I need IS/B to compliment my IS/A personality. That’s how I see it.
