Is IFM for women the same as IFM for men?
No, the male version contains a little something extra to buffer against the occasional depressive side effects that some guys can get with it.
So, could a woman use IFM for men? Would she still benefit from it?
Or would it be weak?
Well now, as i’ve never used the female one, i’m taking a wild guess here… but i’m pretty sure that the male version could be used just as well as the female version by women. Don’t know if it would work the other way around… men using the female version. It may be a little weak, but that would be more like 3 sprays instead of 2. Nothing serious, ya dig?

So MFG, when you say “It may be a little weak” do you mean that the men’s version on a female would need one more spray? Or were you talking about if men were to wear the female version?

I meant that the Men’s version on a woman may be a little weaker. I am unsure whether they used less Androstenedione in the mix to make it more suitable for males, or whether they used other phero’s to buffer it for us. So while the men’s version may be the same strength as the women’s, it may also be a weaker version that we can handle. So if women were to wear it, you may need that extra spray.
I have both the male version of IFM and an A1 chemset version. The A1 chemset version only requires a tiny drop to work its magic (abort PMS of my OS). It’s mildly BO like in scent but easily covered. IFM works as well but requires a massive spray blast or two and is really stinky (because of buffer/steering mones?). So I’m thinking IFM watered down a bit (dosed is the PC term).
Just guessing but the female version of IFM is mainly for self-medication so it seems logical the mone concentration would be lower. After all, it’s applied directly to your body and doesn’t have to depend on molecules floating 5 feet through air.
Doesn’t Androtics list mone content in mcg per spray?
VERY good point, my good man. So i went to go look and the winner is… Women’s IFM! Women’s IFM has 4 pheromones at an mcg per spray of 30. Men’s IFM has 3 pheromones and a small bit of “pheromone like essential oils” at 15 mcg per spray. So my guess is, you’re gonna need that spray or two extra with men’s IFM. Really? So if I got the female version, it wouldn’t also help/work on my TG or other females? Aw man, so maybe I should get guy version, do you think? Im more interested in making her PMS go away (She is absolutely HORRIBLE on it..) and other girls around me to relax than I am about relaxing myself, though it would be nice to get the self-effects to the fullest. I never really PMS though or have any side effects from my time of month though so..

Mmk, let me try to step in here. What he meant was that the female version is meant to be worn by women, for women. He was saying that since it would be worn by a woman, it wouldn’t need as high of an mcg for the self-effects (well, the major effects on men’s version) since its applied to YOUR pherocloud and not to someone else’s. However, my opinion is that it would be better for calming OTHER women down than for self-effects, since we all know those will fade with repeated usage over time.
So, all told, what i’m saying is that YES, you would be better off getting the women’s version… but i VERY much doubt it’s gonna happen. Both versions are outta stock at the time and the male version the big seller of the two. Since the core pheromone that’s in the product is so expensive, which do you think they’ll be making limited release batches of (if they do again)? Yup, you got it. The men’s. So if you can get your hands on some, so settle with an extra spray or two and continue forward, because i doubt IFM women’s will be back in the immediate future.
IFM/w definitely benefits other women when I wear it. It’s not only for self-effect. I think you should get the women’s version, Katie.
IFM/w is more effective for me than chemset androstadienone from L-S, by far.
edit: now I see it’s out of stock … coulda sworn earlier today it had a note saying “call to inquire.”

I’m sure it will still have an effect, though I haven’t used it. After all, though it’s sold to be worn by men, the whole point of it is to work on women, right?
