Which have you found to work better?
It depends!
On several factors, notably you, your situation and the particular phero/product concerned.
It definitely does depend on the product and situations, especially if you are trying to fine-tune a mix or control your environment. In general, though, I enjoy seeing extreme reactions. So if I’m looking for a little amusement, I’ll probably pick something and pile it on. The danger with that is the possibility of hitting OD and experiencing negs.
But if it is a specifically masculine product that I’m testing, I absolutely start with the lowest possible amounts.
Makes sense for a female. To get this extreme reaction, do you do high concentration of social and low concentration of sexual? I keep hearing less is more to avoid OD.
Nope. Extreme calls for extreme. I’ll probably pick just one thing and load up on it. I’ve had a lot of fun with high dose p96, or IS/A, or IH, or whatever. This isn’t really the sort of situation in which I care about avoiding OD. I wouldn’t do this in an environment where there could be lasting consequences, such as a workplace. I’d do it around friends, or at a party, or a bar, or something.
No - you use the right amount of each. Too much social in a mix simply drives any sexual element into insignificance. You need to find what works for you.
As far as sexuals, TUTH is the one where it’s best to be cautious about OD. You don’t want to get slapped, or branded as a perv.
Low is nice as you can always add more, but you can never subtract without thorough removal & re-application.
I do think that very low, particularly a mix of very low concentration P’s has the most impact. However High still works better than a mid-range concentration, mostly due to longevity and self-fx. Mid-range is often the least effective from what I’ve seen - too much in close quarters, and not enough projection. You want to increase projection by using more solvent. More sprays, low concentration.
I’ve come to realize that the volume of solvent is often more important than the volume of solute. The key is giving those molecules a lift, but not overwhelming your natural sig. Using a variety of molecules, but keeping mostly to the safe ones, not letting the strong ones overwhelm.
Think of a normal cologne. One spray of a potent cologne can be off-putting, especially if it has one strong note that stands out. Patchouli maybe. But find one that has a symphony of different smells to it and nothing in particular that stands out - get it in a splash that is very dilluted, you can do lots of sprays of that all day and it’s quite pleasant. It will fill a space but not overwhelm at close proximity.
On the other end of things, for self-fx, an oil-base under the clothes might be the way to go. I think a big part of A314’s excellent self-fx are the oil base.
Oh - there are some situations where you most absolutely do.
But that’s maybe cos its Friday night and I’ve got a fallout calling! ![]()
TUTH, A314 and P96 - going decidedly high on the TUTH
