I have a job interview tomorrow. I’m applying to be a tutor. They want people who communicate well with others, so I’m thinking about using Instant Openness. . . anyone have any ideas about dosage or others? I only have Instant Shine and Instant Sexiness (but I don’t think that one will be appropriate
)
Well, if it’s tomorrow you’ll have to make do with what you’ve got.
I would go with Instant Shine. I apply about 5 sprays of the 2x version, but your experience may vary.
Ideally…my first vote for an Awesome Interview Phero Mix would be to use both Instant Shine and MX134, which is like the A314 for women (makes you seem trustworthy, competent, and confident). Using lots of both of them will put you in a happy and confident mood, and others will pick up on that. Personally, Shine and MX134 help me put my best face forward. Highly recommended for an interview.
Of course…you also run the risk of being in a room with someone who’s sensitive to perfume. You should probably give the pheros a test run before your actual interview.
My second choice would be Instant Shine and TAL, which gives you a strong, sexy, confident, Angelina-Jolie-like aura. If you don’t want to come across too strong, pick TAH instead, which gives you a warmer, softer, “easy-to-get-along-with” vibe.
Those are the products that I have experience with and love. I adore MX135, but some ladies here have reported that it has very strong sexual effects…so I would stick with the MX134 for a job interview.
GOOD LUCK!! I hope you get an excellent offer from them.
Great advice from AKmedic.
Another option would be to use some of your IO (because it will make communication flow more smoothly) along with your Instant Shine. Maybe 1-2 sprays IO and 2-3 sprays IS … that’s being conservative, I know, but you don’t want to get too wild and giddy in the interview.
Thanks for the advice girls. And thank you for the ideas to add to my pheromone collection when I get the money. . .
Wow. I’m starting to get so desperate about money that I’m starting to write for Helium.com to see if I can get a little bit of extra spending money to see if that works out. Too bad I have to wait a month before I see if I do get paid. If anyone goes to Helium.com and sees an article from Melody Clearwater (pen name, btw), rank her high! ![]()
Wish you all the best and don’t forget to smile!![]()
Would she really want/need to exude a vibe of sexiness for a job interview as a tutor? I know women are presented as sex objects in the media, but maybe she doesn’t need to play that up in this case…Maybe I’m speaking out of turn?
Well, sexiness does not have to correspond with sex appeal only, in this case there are other elements such as character, personality, charm etc which play an important role in our lives and it contributes and thus can project the “sexiness” in us. Just my point of view.![]()
What are you talking about? I said that a sexy vibe would NOT be good in this case.
Yeah, I think “sexy and not sexual” is great for a job interview.
Helium.com, huh? Interesting. I’ll check that out, as I’m a poor college girl myself.
Sorry, I must have missed the post where you said that.
So Sexiness = desirable with or without the sex factor?
I’ve never quite understood people’s usage of the word “sexy” when they say they’re not talking about sex. Three of the four letters spell “sex”, what else could it mean? (Cars or computers can be “sexy”—go figure…) I can think of plenty of other words that describe desirability/attractiveness (such as those two) that don’t have anything inherently to do with sexuality. Ah, but I’m splitting hairs with this in today’s day and age: I think everyone now uses it without the original meaning in mind.
Well, there’s nothing wrong with being sexually attracted to someone in a work environment as long as you don’t act on it. You couldn’t really turn that off if you tried. I think sex appeal is what most people mean when they use the word “sexy”, but that doesn’t mean “be overtly sexual”.
You can be sexy and show a little leg in a job interview without being sexual. I think that’s fine.
I was thinking of her wearing “hey, aren’t I sexy?” pheromones to the job interview she mentioned and wondered if such a signal would be to her benefit (i.e., a straight female would not be interviewing her).
Curiously, I was wondering what others thought of women using sexiness as part of their “artillery” so to speak trying to present as a confident/desirable person outside of dating where it’s not necessarily relevant. I don’t hear a lot of guys talking about how they want to look sexy for their job interview/big business meeting/etc. (sometimes, but not ALL the time), whereas it’s basically assumed for women to be sexual 24/7. Maybe I should make a separate post about it, because I don’t want to hijack this post, especially since it’s rather political.
Well, in terms of pheros, I think Instant Sexiness would be fine, and even Lust After Me is considered “worksafe”, although I don’t think any extra cops would be a good idea.
I think sexiness is part of everyone’s artillery; women are just more aware of it because of the societal traits you mentioned. Also, it may also be more effective for women because men are much more visually stimulated–so they’d respond more strongly to a woman’s physical attractiveness than a woman would to a man’s physical attractiveness.
sexy: to inspire sexual urges.
something can stir the idea of sex without meaning you want to have sex with the idea that stirred it.
i can want to be sexy but not intend for people to have sex with me.
i want to inspire love, but not intend for people to have to love me,just love in general.
if i didnt make sense its because im broke.
Thanks for the advice. The interview went well. . . I think
. Anyway, the guy who runs the program seemed to like me fine. I used 3 sprays of Instant Shine and 3 sprays of Instant Openness. No Instant Sexiness, but I do have to say that I still looked good
.
Sounds like the best combination out of what you had available.
What’s important in job interviews: enthusiasm, looking the part (appearance), and eye contact. (There are more, but these are pretty much universal.)
Hey, I just wanted to let you all know that I got the job!!! I remember them saying that they thought I had good communication skills, and I thought this was a little strange since I have a tendency to stutter. I wonder if the Instant Openness had anything to do with it
. But I usually don’t get flustered easily by difficult questions, so that may have something to do with it too.
Congratulations Tomcat!!
The success, actually is due to your abilities, self confidence, skills and inner strength…the pheromones contribution was only 5% (in my opinion)![]()
Really good to hear this!![]()
