Had a job interview today. There were a few other applicants there for the same position. Its a pretty fancy schmancy job.
I put on my suit and just one single drop of A314 on my finger, which I used to draw about my jawline and the neck.
A314 really gives me a sense of focus and confidence. I went into the interview, and had to meet three different men. We were discussing things like product placement, brand marketing, etc., etc. Sales type stuff.
I found that it wasn’t a back and forth, you answer my questions and I will answer yours. Instead, it was a regular conversation in which we spoke candidly, openly, and with a great sense of humor.
After about 45 minutes, I had the sense that the interview was over, but they wanted to keep talking. We were having a good time, after talking about the job itself we were discussing our personal lives, which I found a little odd, but they were volunteering the information.
So, I looked around and said “Well, I guess we can call it a day then?”
We all laughed and there was much slapping of backs.
I asked the person whom I will be working under if he had any final questions for me. He told me no, then asked if I had any final questions for him.
“Of course,” i said. “May I have the job?”
This was ballsy, and they reacted as if I had really impressed them, but pointed out that they had other applicants to consider., etc., etc., but they really seemed to appreciate the way I asked the question.
I drove home and was there maybe an hour before the phone rang.
It was the HR person congratulating me on my new job and asking me to come in to fill out all the necessary paperwork to begin employment.
