Hi, I am 21 years old living in New Jersey and going to school in New York. I first noticed an advertisement for pheromones on an art forum I visit frequently. The advertisement was for pherlure. After reviewing their website, I was genuinely curious about the claims they made. I looked around trying to find as much information as I could on pherlure and pheromones. Almost every site I went to gave nothing but praises for pherlure with only one or two claiming it didn’t work as well as they claimed, but worked nonetheless. I looked everywhere (including youtube) for proof that it actually did work. (there were only 2 or 3 videos about it on youtube that were of any use. one is an advertisement, one gave a positive review, while the other gave a slightly negative. After some debate, I eventually gave in and ordered a bottle. When I did get my order, I tried each of various ways of applying it as they instructed. 1 spray on the neck, one spray on one wrist and rub against the other, and one spray on the chest. None of these methods worked. Wearing it around in school, on crowded trains, and around female friends and groups of people, I noticed no results whatsoever. 
I came to the conclusion that those websites I looked at were either paid to give good reviews on pherlure, affiliated with pherlure (both of which I suspected at first), or if the users did experience any results, it was merely a placebo effect.
Feeling bamboozled (oh yes, I did just use the word bamboozled) I came to the conclusion that pheromones probably don’t work. After one last search around the net for any site that would prove me right once and for all that pherlure was a scam, I came across this forum. A forum dedicated solely to pheromones? I asked. I looked around and after a while realized that this forum was supported by androticsdirect, another pheromone company. My first reaction when I discovered this was that this was just another clever ploy to hoodwink (that’s right, I used hoodwink too, 2 for the price of 1 intro! ) naïve little minds such as myself. I read through a good bit of the threads and realized that there weren’t really any implied advertisement of the products, but instead people giving advice and helping each other out. I saw that a lot of people here claim the androtics pheromones work, which was really pulling me to give pheromones another shot. So here I am, about to try this again. <sigh>
Everyone I know uses either shy or quiet to describe me. Honestly I can see why they would say that, but at the same time I don’t really see myself as quiet as they make me out to be. I can be really talkative and am always going back and forth with my 2 best friends. For some reason I do find that I am quiet around my one good friend that I love to hang out with. He’s one of the funniest people I know and I do feel like I can’t keep up with him at times, which makes me resort to being quiet or soft spoken. I am quite shy approaching strangers, well females for the most part, and being in NY and NJ doesn’t help my situation. NY especially, a lot of females seem to have their guard up, which places them on the defensive most of the time (from my experiences at least), which is understandable with all of the wierdos and stuff.
I’ve been in 2 really long relationships, both of which the females were introduced to me by friends because they more interested in me than I was in them at the time. Most of my female friends consider me to be very attractive, but I’ve learned quite early that looks don’t matter as much as people tend to make them seem. So I guess what I’m trying to get at is that I really don’t have much experience approaching girls, and was hoping to find a pheromone that could help me with approaching and attracting as well as confidence. There are so many pheromones here that I really would love to try, but me being the poor college student, can’t afford to buy many different types at once. I equally want to try Instant Shine, Ammunition, Instant Female Magic and Instant Openness and am torn between them all. I’ve narrowed my choice to Instant Shine and Ammunition. Do you guys think I’m making a good decision? What would you recommend?
