The government in China tries to push the family unit idea and obedience in school and media, because they think a conservative culture leads to more productivity and stability.
On the other side of the spectrum you have quite uncontrolled media like in the West, with tv and books constantly pushing the boundaries.
I think better than both of these is to let the parents educate and give morals to their children, but that’s kind of hard in authoritarian countries like China, or countries bombarded by too much entertainment, and a lot of families today don’t have the time to educate kids themselves.
And here I thought it was some nefarious plot to breed the master race. You intelltent women need to have more babies to improve the gene pool! No Snookie, not you.
