Well, I would hope that, in the near future, the rule would be re-thought in the instance of that “other vendor”, because not only do they use Androtics’ pheros in some of their blends, they also allow a free and open discussion of all pheros and scents.

I 100% agree with this. Obviously if someone comes here just to plug other people’s stuff, that is spamming.
However, as a member of this forum for almost two years (despite the long hiatuses I could not control due to personal and school-related issues), and a long-time lover of Androtics–all of this “that other place that sells the you-know-what from the you-know-where” bullshit is completely ridiculous and it is beneath this organization to resort to such nonsense.
It’s also really bad for business because I can’t speak for the whole world but Americans hate pettiness and that’s what it seems like no matter how long you explain it away.
That’s my opinion, and not another word from me on the subject.

I understand where your coming from. What you did miss in the time you were gone is Jasmins post as to why we were asked not to speak of this company or any associated companys

That is the dilemma. We let the" intials" thing go as I did in this post the questions start flying and everyone starts asking why cant we say it. Then it look sbad and people assume the worse.
If I delete the" intials" I am censoring which we dont want to do. That didnt go over big. So we asked and explained but that wasnt good enough.
There are legal reasons Jasmin dosnt want this lab or the associated companies mentioned on Androtics open forum.
So basically we are stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I understand the questions from the new members. But I dont understand the way some of the old members took it. Androtics has been good to the people in this forum, they think of them as family. They have hit some bumps along the way but pulled through. I was surprised so many would bail on her or the company simply because she asked that we not do something temporarily or because they had a rough period.
So really the only way to avoid the pettiness as you said is to remove the entire thread with the intials and clues in it. Dont really know what else to do. I will talk to Steveo later and see what he thinks I should do. This is one of those times when I cant help or please everyone.

Well, that’s one of the primary problems: it’s effect on you. It should not all be on your head. You have been an unpaid flagship for this company so that SteveO and Jasmin wouldn’t be overwhelmed with forum stuff, and it just seems unfair to me that you have to go through all this.
I have read that post before; I was directed to it months ago. Thank you for putting your heart into trying to fix this: believe me, it’s apparent to everyone. <3
