I am sure that my Androtics order will arrive shortly. This is my first ever pheromone product, so I wanted to start an inaugural thread.
Of course EoW stands for Essence of Woman which is NOT an Androtics product, but instead is made by Love Scent. Being impatient, I left the post office and got into my car and opened it immediately. At first sniff I immediately noticed a weird rotting-fruit note. It didn’t smell goaty to me, just…weird. I took one drop and applied it to my neck.
Ugh… rotting cheese… so heavy and disgusting… I was literally gagging. It was made worse by the confines of my car. But I hung in there and waited for the drydown!! It was ROUGH. On the upside…maybe having traces of copulins in my car will addle the mechanic’s brain enough to where he gives me a discount!
Anyway, it dried down to where I couldn’t notice it, so I decided to apply another drop to hands and work it through my hair. Disgusting – this stuff had better work WELL, or else I’ll never be able to convince myself to apply it ever again. I cannot stand suffering through the rotten cheese stench. When that dries down, I’ll cover it with Musc Ravageur and take a trip to the grocery store to see what kind of hits I get, if any. Letting it dry down a good 20 minutes before applying cover scent is a damn good idea. Sweet Jesu, this stuff smells awful.
I will post some more later! I can’t wait for my Androtics package to get here because I’m sure that it will smell a lot better than this stuff.

nothing about my ew smells like cheese.
i have a sneaking suspicion that the age of the batch makes a difference.
mine smells fruity and acidic like vinigar…nothing funky at all.
i know for a fact that i cannot have a normal conversation without every word i say being misinterpreted as sexual when i wear it.
that ,as long as say the man is not showing outside IOI’s, is still an indicator that the stuff is working!!!

i have yet to be dissapointed by the stuff but do note this:
no one gets EW right the first time!!! its an art…the art of ewwww…
Aging the bottle really does make a big difference (I’ve been going through mine so slowly - until recently - that it’s probably over 2 years old!). The rubber dropper cap doesn’t keep the air out entirely, especially when the acids start to eat through it. I finally transferred mine to a small bottle that does seal properly. It’s quite mellow now compared to when it first arrived, but still requires a drydown period of 5-10 minutes on the skin.
AKmedic, I wouldn’t put it in my hair … hair holds onto top notes better than skin, so it might not ever dry down completely on your hair.
Lor, I don’t think there’s ANYTHING wrong with your nose! I think it’s just my particular bottle combined with my skin chemistry. Ail, thanks for the recommendation and Carrie, that’s good advice. I think I’ll try Androtics spray products in my hair instead.
I think I might be one of those women who doesn’t produce many copulins naturally. I started to feel really nervous and overwhelmed when i was doing my shopping. I am used to men checking me out because it’s Alaska and there’s like 4 men for every woman over 18 in this place. It was a little creepy. Guys would check me out as I walked by, and then they would look RAVENOUS, like they hadn’t eaten in days and I was a filet mignon or something. It made me really nervous and I’m sure that my defensiveness made me appear like I was hiding behind a brick wall – nobody approached me, but I’ve never been looked at like that. It made me feel really intimidated and scared!
Do you ladies wear cops every day? I’d like to wear them in small amounts to help attact Mr. Right, but I’m also not sure if I’m confident enough to handle those kinds of stares every day.

if i wear cops with instant sexiness B, i get the hungry look. if i use instant sexiness A, i get the “let me know if i can help you” look,LOL.

I’ve never noticed the cheese smell either…I get the vinegar smell…and sometimes, it does reek (when I first put it on)…other times, my nose seems more immune to it…
Today my temporary crown snapped for the second time and the dentist was getting ready to fly out of town!!
When I was getting ready, I applied the tiniest touch of EoW (emptied the dropper into the bottle and rubbed the dropper on both sides of my neck). It was MUCH more bearable with such a tiny amount. Then after the drydown, I covered up with a light spray of Ambre Sultan by Serge Lutens.
The dentist was super-rushed. I didn’t get novocaine or anything. The pain on the exposed tooth nub was intense, and I almost started crying. Fortunately they were kind and got the job done as fast as possible, for which I was extremely grateful. I have to wait for them to return in March before my real crown will be seated. I pray to G-d that my stupid temporary doesn’t fall off again between now and then.
It was kind of funny.. he’s an older gentleman and very reserved. When I was leaving, he gave me a big bearhug! I was surprised because he doesn’t seem like much of a hugger. He’s never acted that way towards me before. Maybe he just felt guilty about causing me pain and not numbing me up first… but maybe the copulins helped increase his feelings of sympathy? I don’t know. But after the intense unmedicated pain, it made me feel better that he empathized with me and felt bad for causing pain.
I think that wearing tiny amounts of cops will be beneficial… except I am afraid to wear them to work. I have enough problems with the all-female dynamic in our office, and I don’t want to make anyone catty or competitive.
Have you ladies noticed other women getting defensive, catty, or competitive when you’re wearing copulins? I will check out the other threads to see if that’s already been discussed.
Amazing about the bearhug - quite unusual in an American doc/dentist, no matter how much he sympathized! I can imagine your miniscule dose of cops playing a role here.
There have been discussions of cattiness, did a little search just now to remind myself. Seems some of it was in response to Instant Sexiness A / TAL, and I can relate to that. I think I feel catty toward myself when I wear it, hehe. Small doses of cops haven’t provoked bad responses from women for me, but I only wear 1-2 drops of the straight stuff now. Before I wore it to an all-female office, I’d do some experimenting with women outside the workplace to test reactions.
i have heard many people make that claim before. i honestly have had the opposite experience, i have seen other women behave kindly towards me,almost TAH-ish, but not yet catty.
in a club i got “catty” behaviour wearing instant sexiness , but thats like going to the zoo;your going to hear “catty”.
I dont think the smell of EW is that bad really. Kinda like rotten grapes when in the bottle but when I put it on I do get a cheesy smell. So far following the girls advice and waiting 10 to 15 to add cover I have had an easy time covering the smell. I was so scared to buy it at first because of all the horror stories I was reading about having to lock it up in all these containers and make your mixes outside cause the smell is so horrible. I am so glad I paid close attention to posts by Lor, Ali and Dolly, it gave me the confidence to buy it. I am still testing it out and I am sure at some point I will find the mix that will break my husbands nose barrier LOL. I will just have to hang on till spring and the end of cold season for a good test. Tisha
Got mine too! Tested at home, ALONE (not gonna have someone say Gasp! What is that???). I need to smell it first… Say CHEEEEESE! True, it reminds me of it but it’s not intrusive. After 15 mins or so it’s hardly noticeable (though if you sniff at it really really close, you can see it’s da cheese again).
For a start, I’ll apply on my wrists, neck & chest but I’ll do that by the open window! People testing will be in stores or a coffee shop, something really general.
Probably do that for a week wearing similar clothing & make up style so is not to skew the results
Oh wait, I need to see when the PMS starts… LOL Let’s do testing when it’s all “neutral” too, NOT in “high time” because it’ll be ME who send out messages!

Question: Will regular body lotion (scented or not) be Ok to apply OVER the EoW after it dries?
you can use lotion but something about it gets funky with the EW. maybe that was just my experience, but it was with bath and body works.
i use DKDelicious and its a nice cover, but mostly anything vanilla kills anything funky. thats an alcahol base.
i wonder if something in the lotion messes with the acidity of EW …
the smell gets funky. i get this weird feeling like its not as effective but Ail would know for sure. shes tried it all.
if your skin is dry, you really ought to treat it from the inside.
i dont see doctors, but i used to see a chinese-herbologist that suggested i add -in any way that i want- olive oil to my diet.
it helps alot,its natural, and its not a fat that sticks to your body because your body knows how to get rid of what it cant use when its natural.
i use olive oil on the outside of my skin as well, but it has to absorb before i add EW.

My skin is actually pretty good but I always put lotion after each shower since 15 yo, really. The olive oil, hmm… now that’s something I’ll add to my diet.
I heard fish oil is good when we have stressful time. When asked why not vit B, the answer was it has it but in purer form. Are we gonna burb smell like fish now?
I’ll ask Ail - wonder if we can put lotion first, EoW then perfume.
