Lift: Becoming a Positive Force ** Great New Book Free For the Next 50 People

Need to buy this book even more now.

Trust me, it is amazing! I’ve read through it and I’m about 2/3 of the way through it with a highighter and soaking up all the info.

Great stuff! I ordered it, should be here next week.

I ordered ‘Blink’ immediately of the back of MHarris’ recommendation and read it in less than a week - I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ve just ordered ‘lift’ (Another one-word-title book) after again seeing all the positive reviews on here. I’ll be sure to give it a review once I’ve read it.

are there still copies up for grab? :stuck_out_tongue:

After reading this, I went and researched reviews, etc, on that book, and it looks great! I could definitely benefit from something like that, especially right now, with between 2 to 4 major major (icky, nasty) things going on right now

Thanks for the tip! Now I’ll go look to see if its on eBay, lalala, wish me luck…

wow, bit expensive on amazon still

Order number: 104-8498388-1011429

I got a lot of good books in this order, i’ll be opening up Lift next!!!

I’m not sure if the offer is still valid, I never heard from anyone regarding the GC. However, I still recommend this book to anyone with an interest in psychology, positivity, leadership, productivity and teamwork. An entertaining read backed up with many fascinating studies on how people think and behave.

bumpity bump

Is this book really that good?

I really like the sound of this book! I’ll probably order it, is the GC offer still valid?

MHarris, you said you know a lot about systems. Have you read “The Fifth Discipline” by Peter Senge or “The Leader’s Handbook” by Peter Scholtes? If so, what are your thoughts? If not, I highly recommend them!

And thanks for posting those Ziglar quotes. They really gave me something to chew on. Particularly:
“Failure is a detour, not a dead-end street.” Lately, I’ve been pondering this concept. It seems like each time I take a significant stride forward, I inevitably fall on my face. But each time I fall, it gives me pause to look around and reevaluate my course. And each stride forward is greater than the last.

“Expect the best. Prepare for the worst. Capitalize on what comes.” This is so true. No matter what comes your way, you can use it to your advantage.

Another one of his that I like, along a similar vein is, “Some adversity is what you need to face in order to be successful.” Also, “If you learn from defeat, you haven’t really lost.”

good thread.
