It’s actually called Bremelanotide now, and it’s no longer being used for ED or FSD, according to Palatin Tech their new plans are
“Developing bremelanotide as a therapeutic drug for treatment of hemorrhagic shock and related indications (shock induced by blood loss, such as secondary to surgery or trauma);”

This is due to the blood pressure side-effect concerns, caused by the medication.

However they also released this in their PALATIN TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES NEW STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES AND REPORTS THIRD QUARTER 2008 FINANCIAL RESULTS

“Advancing new Palatin compound P.L-6983, which in animal models causes significantly lower increases in blood pressure than seen with bremelanotide, into Phase 1 clinical studies for treatment of male and female sexual dysfunction;”

So, more like P.L-6983 rather than PT-141

Sorry to hijack your thread LadyT, Consider this a bump to your thread
Hope you get some answers!

P.S.
The dot in-between the ‘P’ and ‘L’ in P.L-6983, is not the precise name, the dot is to prevent the automatic forum processes of converting P and L (when together) to Pherlure.
