p96, Day 2 (or 3? Not sure how to categorize that last one.)
p96, Day 2-ish (Saturday)
25 mcg, applied twice, applied 6.5 hours apart
Chocolatini
Friends and strangers, and one-on-one
I went to a conference yesterday. A bunch of my friends carpooled. My goal for the day was to see if I could observe how long p96 was effective. What I achieved instead was an observation of self-effects, finally.
At 7:30 am (yes, that’s when I arrived at the meetup spot), I applied 2 sprays of 12.5 mcg p96 to my jaw/earlobe/neck area and blotted the runoff with the insides of my wrists. I was all bundled up for the weather at the time, and that was practically my only exposed skin. The van got warm pretty quickly, so the bundling didn’t last very long.
As soon as I pulled into the meetup parking lot (on time to the very minute), I realized that my best friend (the one from the “day 5” p130 test) was pulling in behind me. For a split second, my brain said, “oh, cool!” but then I suddenly realized that she had previously told me that the meetup time was 7:15. If she was arriving at 7:30, then she must have known that we weren’t really meeting at 7:15. She must have lied to me because she assumed I’d be late unless she could trick me into thinking we were meeting earlier. That BITCH!!! I was instantly so pissed off (keep in mind that I was tired and cranky), and was rehearsing in my head exactly how I was going to confront her. I applied the p96 just before getting out of my car. She was rummaging around in her car, so I had to wait about 5 minutes before she got out. By then, although I was still offended, my tone had already changed. Instead of “how dare you lie to me”, I asked her, “Did you know that we were meeting up at 7:30?” Yes, she said, she did. “Why did you tell me 7:15? Were you assuming I’d be late if you told me the real time?” Nope. Miscommunication. Hmm. I’m very glad for the timely change in attitude, that coulda been nasty. In retrospect, though I didn’t identify it at the time, I think the p96 was starting to soften me up a little.
When we all headed off, I noticed that I felt endearingly toward the other people in the van. Like there was an instantaneous bond. I do like all of those people, but there was a warmth and kinship that usually takes a bit more time to establish in groups. I have no idea how long the effects lasted. I don’t think it was long. The self-effects were so mild (and I hadn’t even identified them yet by that point) that I didn’t notice them wear off. And if I got any hits, they were so subtle that I didn’t pick up on it. Nobody sat in my lap. And my friends are really nice people anyway.
I’m almost certain that the effects had worn off by the 6.5 hour mark. Probably a lot sooner. I know, at least, that the chocolatini scent faded REALLY quickly. Like, within the first hour or two. I should pay attention to how long it takes for me to stop smelling it, I don’t know why I didn’t think of that as a time marker. I applied another 25 mcg at 2 pm. Again, I felt bonded with the people sitting near me. My friend Rachel was on my right, and I was preoccupied with admiring her hair, which is dark brown with purple streaks. I normally like her hair anyway, but this time I was really taking in the beauty. New conclusion: p96 makes me admire hair!
At this conference, they stuffed us with the most horrible food. Granted, it tasted fine, but what I’m referring to is the fact that it was all sugary or starchy! Or both! Breakfast: danishes, muffins, bagels, orange juice, coffee, fruit. Lunch: grilled cheese sandwiches, cookies, coffee, lemonade. Snack: fruit, marshmallows, and other sweet crap to dip into melted chocolate. I sugar crashed so bad by 6 pm, which is when we got back. Headache, nausea, dizziness, grumpiness, etc. This paragraph has nothing to do with mones, I just wanted to share my pain with the world. I picked up some beef curry takeout and rendezvoused with bestie at Starbucks to get some studying done. Slowly I regained normalcy.
Ok, back to the mones. I’m pretty sure the p96 had worn off by the 5-hour mark, but I’m DEFINITELY sure it was loooong gone by the 6-hour mark. At 8 pm, bestie had to leave, and I had convinced ukulele friend to come take her place in keeping me company. BIG difference from the last 2 times I’d seen him. I certainly enjoyed his company, and we only did a brief amount of work before getting distracted into some really in-depth conversation. But here’s the kicker: where the last 2 times I’d been gazing upon and admiring his face, his hair, his beard,… I found myself doing the exact opposite this time. I noticed how young his face looks since he trimmed his facial hair way short. I noticed that he most certainly needs a haircut, there’s no excuse for his hair to be that awkward. I kept noticing odd flaws in his facial features. Not appreciating any of it. We parted ways at 10 pm. (Then my dad stopped by my place to briefly visit. Long day. I’m exhausted.)
So here’s the takeaway:
For me, I think the primary effects of p96 are beautification and endearment (camaraderie?).
I don’t think this molecule lasts longer than just a few hours (if that). That could be because of the chocolatini, which I’m finding to be a very weak scent.
I think I need to give up on the 25 mcg dosage. Though it has some moderate effects in close proximity, I’m not seeing a general level of hits that I’m satisfied with. Gonna start upping the dose.
