I’m happy to say, I have finally caught up on my Miss Dragon posts. (It’s like how people catch up on watching New Girl or whatever Hit TV Show du Jour. I am there now. Until you post next. hehe)
Exactly. This is a very hyped molecule, and it’s great that you are injecting your reality into testing it. Even though all humans are infinitesimally similar, epigenetically, we are NOT! Wearer #1 is not going to get the same complex of effects as Wearer #2, 3, 6, 87 or so on.
But we are human, after all. We’re mammalian creatures with, at the time of this writing*, 40 million odor receptor neurons, which detect ten thousand-ish smells. Put it this way. If you put 40 million colors at the hand of different artists, a different picture and mood will emerge every time. Moods may be similar, all the pictures will be different.
P96, as well as any odiferous particle – lavender, diesel fuel, library books, burnt cinnamon buns w/ too much brown sugar – will paint a mental picture in one’s mind. And there are 7 billion minds, 40 billion odor receptor neurons, and, according to EARL, 48 human emotions. The permutations are endless. Generally, though, clusters of people from the same cultures and backgrounds are going to have similar affects and effects. The wisdom of crowds.
I’ll stop here, because I can go on forever. But this is why I like my job. ![]()
What fragrances do you like?
What were your favorite smells growing up?
You may be speaking of the dynamics of the diffusion properties of Chocolatini carrying P96. Every fragrance is going to affect diffusion characteristics a different way, esp when we’re talking about carrying odiferous pheromonal molecules, which are generally lighter than perfuming chemicals. And so, some of the perfuming chemicals may dampen the pheromonal and stick it to skin, until heated up by your pulse points, allowing it to break through.
Seriously, just a theory though. The moral of the story is – P96 with Chocolatini works this way for you, and P96 with grapefruit may not.
AAAnd this is why I am so thankful you remember to put your fragrance choice in your reports.
I get the feeling I want to hug you after reading these reports, that’s how powerful your mixes are. They transcend text and time.
Inhibition drop. Closeness. An awkwardness-state-break. Still platonic. Interesting.
Give me some specifics and I’ll make it happen.
Also - err.. not to let the cat out of the bag so to speak, but one of the CTTM 406-408 mixes is somewhat like that. But I don’t remember which one, and I have already spoken too much.
Oh, right. I already asked what your favorite fragrances are. But I DID NOT ask what your favorite AD fragrances are. Have you tried them all?
Oh, and what is the dosage of your P130 spray, itself?
And: P130 - 96 - IH? Tried this? What do you think?
Sherlock in his office, figuring things out, with all the little pop up ideas and creased forehead shots is almost shot for shot exactly a scene out of our office on heavy planning days.
We should include hot chocolate on those days.
L-O-L. Just drooled my invisible hot chocolate back into my cup.

*- Scientists, like all curious discoverers, learn more every day. They will probably out a press release next week that totally debunks this. but, for now, let’s just say 40 million OR neurons.
