Mixing pheromones with my own scents--Help

Hi All,
I’ve just recently purchased some pheromones from this website and I’m very happy with them!..except…the orange neroli scent really gets on my nerves. I’m wondering if anyone can give me some technical advice on adding my own fragrance.

If I purchase the unscented versions of different products and add a little of my own fragrance will this disrupt the effectiveness of the product?

I usually use oil based roll on scents; can I add a little OIL to the pheromones or should I use alcohol based perfume?

I realize I can just spray on the unscented version and use perfume over it, but this makes a lot of extra bottles to carry. Plus, having a scent added to the products makes me less inclined to spray too much on–and less inclined to overdo it.

Any advice would be MUCH appreciated

Hi Bambi

It is generally advised not to add perfumes to your pheromones because it cuts the strength. Oils might might be a better option for mixing into them but I would experiment with a to go or atomizer instead of a full size bottle that way you’re not ruining an expensive bottle nor commiting yourself to one scent.

Inkling is right, it can cut down on the effectiveness. You could try using them unscented and just applying perfume or your roll on’s over them. This is what do usually or you can go to custom additions and they have a few more scent choices there.

I am hoping in the future they get more choices LOL hint hint :stuck_out_tongue:

Do you like the scent of grapefruit ? I just tried all my products in that and let me tell you its the perfect spring summer scent. Light and refreshing and its blends well with other things.

If you really want to add a scent then do it like inkling suggested. Order some empty to-go bottles when you place your order for unscented stuff and transfer some into the to-go and add a few drops of scent. Just do it in small amounts the first few tims so you can see how it effects the products.

Oh and just so you no unscented just mena no cover scent. The mones will be smelly still.

Good advice above.

I’ve done it a few times, mixed my own scents with the products, or with my own mixes of products, in small bottles or sprays. You can add about a sample vial’s worth of fragrance oil to a To-Go, for example. It works fine, but in general I like to have more fragrance flexibility than that so I just layer my fragrance-of-the day over whatever pheros I’m wearing.
