I’m considering spraying IS and IO on my furniture to enlighten the mood at my party this friday, without having to wear a bunch myself. How would that work?
Hey Taggle, I saw something just the other day in which Tisha23 (I think) replied to an enquiry about mones on paper. Saying basically that no they don’t last, because they need your chemistry to react with. Which makes sense, when you think about it. My question is: why would you waste mones on your furniture? Wear them yourself, this would keep you circulating - spreading the joy, as it were - and probably have some people wandering around after you. This would put you in the position of then being the catalyst for conversation. Once started, you can then move around literally stirring up the conversation pot

If you like essential oils and have an evaporator - you know, those little dishes for water with candle space underneath; orange essential oil promotes a light social atmosphere. If you have more than one, even better, just remember to keep them out of incidental reach to prevent accidental spillage or fire

Paper is porous so it wont last on paper. Cloth for the most part is absorbent. Certain mones will work on furniture but not all of them. They dont diffuse well on cloth either unless its heated. I spray Ishine on my bosses chair sometimes because she is a bitch and it works for her mood but not those around her unless they get really damn close to that chair. My mom would ask me to spray some on my dads chair when he was getting on her nerves because it made him more chipper and happy when he sits in it LOL. Sure the mood effects her only because he would stop getting on her nerves but she is not effected by it unless she sits in the chair.
As Astrea pointed out they convey something about the person. Ishine on the chair, if it diffuses may make people draw towards it and love that chair. Everyone will hover around the chair and their mood will be great. They may feel great about the person sitting in the chair. It will have little to do with you though.
But if you wear it they will hover around you and think your great. Same effect different target. So choose… do you want them to love you or the chair ? 
You could experiment though. Somewhere in the ladies section we have a “wild and crazy” uses for mones thread. I will look it up and edit the link in here when I find it.

Do I remember right that one of the very first studies that demonstrated the effectiveness of pheros involved spraying one chair in a line and recording its popularity?
Yep I have seen quite a few studies like this with different pheromones. People tend to gravitate towards the chair sprayed with the mones.
I recall one mentioned in a movie theater. I dont remember the mone but they noted that everyone went right to that isle and sat near that chair instead of spreading out all over the theater like normal. Just a big clump of people in one spot LOL
Another study with anone showed women who had a choice of seats sat in the anone chair more often then any of the other chairs.
Its a fun test if you have the environment to do it.

This might be a little bit late of a response and I hope its not to late , but Jasmin taught me herself to always spray certain area’s of a party room with happy mones. I watched her many times while at trainings to always spray certain chairs (like the hot seat in a training room) with IO. Always provoked a great reaction. Best idea is to attempt it and let the rest of us know how it worked out for you. Be adventurous

I have no proof to back it up, but I like to spray important documents with IS.
Also TUTH in gift boxes but that might be the TUTH on me that gets the result!
I’m not familiar with that one, but I know others have shown certain pheros to only have an effect when worn by an examiner of the opposite gender.

So I tried a little IO in a fabric sofa. I don’t know if it worked, not that people didn’t talk constantly all night, but they didn’t seem to be the type of people who ever shut up anyway… (yeah I didn’t really like them:o)
