Moning In Seattle!!!

Just sneaking in to sub.

Cool. No need to sneak . . . not like I’m not open about lurking in yours. lol :wink: Nice to see you here.

I dunno, I like going cloak & dagger sometimes.

Oh! You want to sneak?! Go right ahead, then. I promise not to notice.

sneak… sneak… sne—stumbles-over-an-untied-shoelace-and-crashes-to-the-floor …oops. :o

Hey, none of that, lol!

Data, aren’t you in Seattle too? If so, we should all go have a coffee or a drink or something during my ridiculous layover today (Unless you’re scared…:stuck_out_tongue:).

Scared? Moi? Perish the thought, my dear! My biggest problem is my work schedule, 2 PM to 10:30 PM. When are you supposed to get here?

I’ve never tried melatonin–I only know what I’ve researched and take. Many things I’ve researched and decided against; I often forget those.

Oops, too late, I’ve been and gone…maybe next time!

I was gifted some MX 397, so today I wore it with other mones. I had stuff to do downtown and it went like this. @ 10.45am

2 x IS/B; 1 x spray to each side of my neck.

2 x IH; 1 x spray to each wrist.

1 x MX 397 spray to the front of my throat. Vanilla grapefruit scent.

Self effects: Ok, I wasn’t ready for the scent; the first instance it kind of seemed a little masculine (!); but the scent evaporated quite quickly. I started to feel a little - superior? snobby? A HUGE confidence boost; and with that the attitude that all fools and idiots were beneath my notice.
Seriously, I haven’t had a Snotty So and So (translates to not quite a bitch; but definitely not to be messed with) attack like that for a long time. It amused me - while it was happening. Which then opens up a new reaction for me. Usually, in one of those moods, my sense of humor gets tightened. As in, making me laugh is not going to be by fart jokes or slapstick humor. Normally, I get kinda . . . Vulcan (apologies for the Star Trek ref).
So while this puts me in one of my more ‘difficult to please’ moods, it didn’t leave me without some crass humor.
Then I started to feel mildly impervious. Like nothing could really get to me; or touch me. It solidified my bubble.

Outside temp: 80F; 61% humidity. This is a hot day for Seattle. Light occasional breezes. Sunny.

I was amongst strangers today. Everyone was polite - but that was to be expected. I was offered respect without having opened my mouth - which is not so usual - and even more when I started speaking.

I reapplied all mones, as above at approx 2.45pm.

Those couple of people that I know well that I caught up with later in the day; were

  1. genuinely happy to see me - usual
  2. full of questions - but didn’t press when I declined to answer; which is NOT usual.
  3. making great eye contact, smiles but were all careful not to cross any lines. Which is new, a lot of people I know and see are NOT good when it comes to boundaries. This was a relief.

Just for the self effects of this MX - I’m sold. I like it a LOT. This is something I plan to keep on hand. I’ve already made a space for it in my makeup purse.

Yes, the respect and consideration aspect, yet still attracting friendliness is really nice!

Heh. 397 is the ONE scent I like, smells like faint Bubbalicious of some variety–nerolis all smell like someone mixed everything on the perfume counter, and 412 smells like bug spray. Blech. Maybe we got different scents? My 397 experience has been “quiet, younger, more studious sister of IS/b”. It’s OK. I want IS/b!

O.M.G. You made me lol - again. Grateful that my raspberry cranked peach nectar was NOT in my mouth while I read that! :open_mouth::stuck_out_tongue:
I think 412 smells like aftershave, not so sure about the bug spray - but hey, if that’s how it smells to you, that’s how it smells.

I believe 412 is Akuto, so not a fan of that. Have you had the opportunity to smell Chocolatini? I like that, but I also like the Neroli. I think the MX’s just come in the scent specified - like all 397 is in vanilla-grapefruit; 412 is Akuto - why am I explaining to you? You’re a scientist. :open_mouth: I have to dumb down a lot . . . sorry. :frowning::slight_smile:

Now it’s yesterday I went to spend some time with my fake lil bro and his roommate. Having indulged in things.

1 x MX 397 to the front of my throat.

4 x IO; 1 x spray to each side of my neck; 1 x spray to the crook of each elbow.

Self effects: This turned into such a mellow, easy going event. I was smiling and just cruising. Felt confident, self assured and mellow.

Outside temp: 81F; 72% humidity. Sunny, another hot day for Seattle.

I got downtown and went to eat. Got something that was just exactly what I wanted and scarfed. Not worried about where I was, which was just some bench by Pike Place; a couple sat beside me with the same idea and we ended up chatting amicably - not my usual behavior. I don’t eat with people I: don’t know, don’t trust or don’t like - or any combination of those.

The whole afternoon and evening was just pleasant, I was mellowed out and stayed that way. Some pleasant interaction with T and H; H’s kid was home, so that was a little mellower with the added qualifier. T and I went to see a movie. Wandering around town beforehand was fun, a Halo Convention had all the costumers out and about. I was unchallenged and treated politely at all times which made my mellow smile even more mellow.

One of my favorite effects for any day - just that much smoother. A way to take all the edges of the day and the people in my day. MX 397 really makes me feel good about me.

I’m just grateful all the scents so far: Neroli, Grapefruit, and the Vanilla Grapefruit are all sympatico with my nose. The Akuto of 412 will take a minit to get used to on me.

I wonder if that’s what that unfortunate scent of mx422 is too? Hmm.

Ohh, I need this – only thing I’ve found to “kill a cranky” is to eat food, particularly properly cooked (medium well) beef. Any food, or water, helps, as does anything that I find smells or tastes good, or anything that otherwise makes me happy.

(I have MX 397, and while it’s nice, it’s not a “cranky-killer” for me.)

What about CHOCOLATE mmm plz k thx!

Chocolate has to be of premium quality – not overly sweet, and mixed with orange, hazelnut, mint, coffee, etc. But even then, I don’t crave it at all in hot weather, and I eat very little since I realized I’d gradually suppressed half of my personality (last relationship) and decided I was going to be myself again. My ex didn’t like that change, and we split. I now think I was mildly depressed. I eat less ice cream, too, and mostly go for fresh fruits, frozen fruit and yogurt smoothies, and homemade, minimally-sweet fruit desserts, like pie.

Bah haha haha what hot weather??? All joking aside, eating to balance a cranky is not a solution. Meditation, breathing exercises, a happy delusion. All better options than eating. I’ve never been an emotional eater; not for depression, happiness or boredom. It just doesn’t jibe with me. Why would I taint my food and digestive process eating in a cranky??. That’s what will cause ulcers, indigestion and digestive issues.
And yes, while having a giggle at the current definition of “hot” weather; ScienceStudent is 100% right. Hot weather changes what you eat; less dairy, less ‘gummy’ things; less heavy soups, stews etc and definitely less puddings; less chocolate; heavy diets aren’t beneficial to your sense of well being, if nothing else. Ice cream isn’t as popular in the summer as ice blocks, gelato and sorbet. It’s too gummy. Takes up too much space and energy to process. And if it isn’t good quality, just doesn’t really taste right.
Chocolate? Sciencestudent’s qualification for good quality minimum is also another of my baselines. I only eat quality dark chocolate; and if it’s not available, I don’t eat chocolate. Non European milk chocolate - American, English or Oz etc, manufacturers make milk chocolate too sweet for me and it never fails to give me a headache. And the only thing I have to say about alleged ‘white’ chocolate is: by definition cocoa beans are dark brown; therefore, there is no such thing as white chocolate. It’s just vegetable shortening, oil and sugar. Disgusting.

I miss frozen mangoes . . . . :frowning: MX397 as a cranky killer for me, fits just nicely. Sorry, Ochris, that a simple offering of chocolate brought out the exceptions to the rule. 2 fems here, that won’t be mollified by the offering of chocolate when upset . . . but it does give you information about the tiny minority of fems that have actually come to a different, more effective for them; solution for their discombobulations.
