OK when I wear this I feel good - like I have my shit together. I have been trying it off and on for some time now. Have had OK days and BAD days. Only one good day. I started using 1 spray and went to 5. The more I use the worse I get on my boss’s nerves!!!
Every time I wear it it is just awful. He “over talks” me and always has to but in as if I do not know what the hell I am talking about. I have been doing this for over 10 years! WTF. I have kept a journal - even though I am not posting that much (bad girl). It really seems every time I wear it it turns into a bad day. He talks down to me, like almost condescending, etc.
When I wear other things or nothing at all it is not like this. This is the BUSINESS phero. I find this really strange. Now - for background - my boss and I are friends and he usually respects me and my opinions, etc. I hate when I have it on and he treats me like this.
I want it to work - especially because it makes me feel good. But seriously, I can’t take the crap from my boss. Maybe I am imagining it - but I swear I have been keeping a journal of what I wear every day. It seems to only happen when I wear this…
I think MX134 is based around TAL (Tisha, is that right?) Maybe he doesn’t like a TAL type of woman, or has some kind of issue with that more dominant personality style?
Are there mixes you wear around him that he responds well to?
One thing you could do is wear the MX134 where only you will smell it (cleavage or inside of your shirt) and something else that he tolerates better in your hair (better diffusion to others).
Oh, you’re definitely intimidating him. MX134 is making you seem more on top of things and in charge than usual, and he probably feels threatened. It’s often a surprise which men respond in this manner–I had a male co-worker who was a total jerk and only made eye contact with me when he had to. I started wearing ISexi A and MX134 to work, and he turned into a buddy. It was weird.
With this guy, have you thought about taking Carrie’s advice, and using something more TAH-based in your hair?
Is he a Alpha or a Beta ? Being in charge dosnt make you the Alpha.
Does he easily become threatened by others ?
Is he competative by nature ?

I am thinking your signature is so strong he is threatened by you. My boss dosnt respond well to MX134 either. He is a Beta with peter pan syndrome. He will ignore me totally when I wear it but 99% of the other employees are fine. My personality is strong normally without mones and he seems to be able to handle this but when you wear MX134 your status go’s up and Beta types can feel threatened and unsure of themselves.
Great advice from the girls, as usual. It’s a funny thing about TAL and TAH. Different personality types respond differently but also in kind. What I mean is I’ve had positive and negative responses from all ends of the spectrum with all kinds of guys, like Laurie said. Any combo can work. It’s what works for you, with him, in particular.
Though I agree with Tishas observation of beta-guys being threatened by alpha-women, it works that way with alpha-guys as well. They also can feel threatened by alpha-women.
You like the self effects of MX134. It makes you feel good, together and on your game. Good things. I’d normally say he needs time to get used to your new “more alpha than he’s used to” signature…but you’ve been using it around him long enough to realize he just can’t get comfortable with it and he needs to dominate that aura he’s sensing from you. So, you need a different tact. Carrie’s suggestion of tucking it down and closer to your own nose is the ticket. Laurie’s suggestion of TAH in your hair could balance it out for you.
I’ve got a question for ya…does he react the same way to IS/A? Though different both contain TAL, though IS/A has a bit more cops in it than MX134, they feel similar to me, that’s why I ask. Maybe if he reacts better to IS/A you can use that instead. Just a thought.
Yes - well just tried IS/B - responds very well. I thought I was a definite IS/A girl. Well I know I am but he likes B I think…
Never even wore in hair until a week or so ago - OMG! Much more attention. IS/A didn’t do much - but MX134 just was too much for our relationship as coworkers I think. He actually said tonight that he doesn’t know why he is in the position if I don’t need a manager - that was my last MX134 at work. Did IS/B after at happy hour and total change!

He is VERY open and great to be around with Instant Shine, Instant Openness and IS/B. I never thought I could pull off IS/B because I am very Type A personality.
