Well, I had nothing really special going on with these two, I don’t think.
First attempt: 3 sprays MX256 to the back of the neck/head, 1 spray to the chest. This was the only phero I was wearing.
Target Guy: Mr. Darcy.
I felt a little more alert and happy about 10 minutes after application than I had previously, but that could have been a combination of being off work and meeting up with TG. Mr. Darcy was jollier than usual, but again I’m not sure if it was the pheros or just the circumstances. ![]()
Second attempt: 3 sprays MX256 to the back of the neck/head, 1 spray to the chest, 1 spray split between wrists. This was the only phero I was wearing.
Target Guys: All the old men who gather at the tiny corner greasy spoon for Sunday morning breakfast.
I was the Old Man Magnet this time around, but who knows if it was the MX256 or just a combination of things? I was wearing a rather form-fitting Yankees jersey in enemy (Indians) territory, which got the majority of these guys ranking on me in a playful way. I’ve been to this place before and had the patrons talk to me, though. Nothing really out of the ordinary.
Third attempt: 3 sprays MX257 to the back of the neck/head, 1 spray to the chest. This was the only phero I was wearing.
Targets: coworkers.
People seemed a tad friendlier than usual. One cute (and usually shy) male coworker spent an inordinate amount of time telling me about his upcoming scuba diving vacation and explained to me all about something he called “narcing” which is I guess some kind of temporary high divers get from the rush of nitrogen into their bloodstream? Sounds dangerous to me. Anyway, he was telling me all about that for about half an hour, which is 29 minutes more than the amount of conversation I usually get from him. ![]()
Fourth attempt: 4 sprays MX256 to the back of the neck/head, 2 sprays to the chest, 1 spray to each wrist. Repeat the same applications for MX257. Yep, that much. These were the only pheros I was wearing.
Targets: people sitting around me at a baseball game, possibly some baseball players (I think the wind was blowing their way. See explanation below).
This may not have been the best setting since it was outdoors, but I figured what the hell, I might as well keep on testing these two and I upped the dose significantly. Our seats were behind home plate on the third base side. Over by third base is where everyone congregates to try to get player autographs. Since I was testing pheros I thought I might as well see if these two help out at all with that.
Two of the Indians spent some time talking to me, but I was standing a row back from the wall so I don’t think it was because of the MXs. I think it was because they were hispanic and I shouted “you’re ignoring the kids over here!” at them in Spanish.
I got no autographs, but I didn’t really ask for one. ![]()
During the game, the guy sitting to my left talked off and on about his fantasy team.
The family sitting behind me asked about my conversation with the Indians because they were apparently trying to get autographs in that throng but didn’t get any. That was about it. Again, people were friendly, but moreso than usual? Hard to say.
I’m thinking I may need to test these with proven combinations of mine. Maybe I can get some clearer results.
