I had two sprays left in my to-go. I’d been saving this for quite some time, since it doesn’t look like Androtics is going to re-stock it anytime soon.
I finally said ‘oh what the hell’ and used both of the sprays today. Wasn’t even completely two full sprays lol.
I had a couple of friends over, and probably had one of the best times I’ve had in weeks. We had shisha, went out for food, and even the waitress had a great time with us. I don’t know what it is about this mix, but there’s really no substitute for it. It’s an extremely sloppy social mix, and if it was ever an Instant product, it should be called Instant GOOD TIME. Me and the people around me have ALWAYS had a great time with it, and it truly is the king of all socials on this site. There’s been times when a variety of products seemed promising, but then ended up being way too inconsistent. This doesn’t suffer from that downfall. It’s a positive hit, and always feels like you’re wearing a fur coat of socials everywhere you go with it. My strongest hits EVER have come from a combination of this with A314. <3
I’d buy a BUCKET full of this stuff if it ever became available again. MX272 just doesn’t cut it! =)
I tried 2 sprays of MX273 for a steering committee meeting (mostly volunteers) of a small entrepreneurial non-profit. It’s a pretty bohemian group, the founders all live in a a big loft (something like 10 people live there), and the committee is a combo of very social and very nerdy types. Mostly guys.
The meeting was held at the founders’ loft and started with cocktails. The main hit I noticed was the fragrance (Game scent?) was so strong that even an hour after applying it I was embarrassed by how strong it smelled. Both girls in the group (who I’ve met before) gave me extra personal space, which I attributed more to the fragrance and my reaction to it than to the pheros.
I washed off the MX with soap and water before we sat at the table and convened the formal meeting, though by then it had been over half an hour in the space. The meeting did seem to go more smoothly than normal, but it’s hard to attribute that to the pheros.
Tmoz, didn’t the fragrance of the two sprays get to you? If not, how did you apply it. Did you notice any reactions to the fragrance?
I think if I were to use this again I’d limit it to one spray to the back of my neck.
Quite possible, but given the accepted wisdom that women (a) have more sensitive sense of smell and (b) care more about perceivable smells and (c) fragrances become much less perceptible rather quickly during prolonged exposure (which is why we can’t smell our own body odor, no matter how powerful it is), and (d) I found the cologne fragrance not just noticeable but overpowering and annoying for over an hour, it’s hard for me to believe it wasn’t bothering them, too.
Either way, it makes MX273 very difficult for me to use.
I’m telling you, it’s a issue of self perception. For some reason Androtics scent packages do not have the same properties as department store cologne, and I have never run into a problem of having too strong a scent. When I started out I was paranoid about it too though, many people are. The scary thought of being “that cologne guy” tends to make one be cautious. However, inspired by many posters who have made epic pherobomb mixes with many many sprays, I found out there is really no upward limit. There is however a fifteen minute approximate dry down time when the top note is present. During this time it is very noticeable.
Don’t forget, Women enjoy a man who smells good! It’s going to be hard to stack an Androtics scent so that it becomes overpowering. Department store colognes and axe body sprays etc are much easier to spray on and have an overpowering scent. Game, Neroli, and even Akuto do not become overpowering to others.
