Mx274...is it just me?

I did a half-arsed attempt at trying my brand spanking new Mx274 today… (I only used 2 sprays and was not really interacting with people much today so I didn’t get any hits)

I noticed some nice self effects…BUT the thing that kept bugging me all day was the smell…I couldn’t figure out if I liked it or not because it was soo not what I expected…

I thought Mx274 was supposed to be grapefruit scented? I got a bit of grapefruit-ish smell in the beginning, but after dry down it was more of a mild choclatini type scent, less intense than MX135 and not as sweet but I definitively walked around smelling like chocolate…and the scent wasn’t covered by my normal perfume

Am I the only one who noticed this? As far as I know you can’t custom order the scents on the Mx’s, so I can’t have ordered chocolatini and forgotten…

sorry xiphoid, but i dont smell chocolate.

then again, my nose isnt sniffin its best lately.

Yeah, the grapefruit scented products don’t smell much like grapefruit. Unfortunate, since grapefruit is such a nice, clean smell. I don’t mind the drydown smell of MX274, but it doesn’t smell like chocolate to me. I can’t identify it either.

Diane

Sweet! So it’s not just that my sense of smell is screwed
I quite like the drydown smell…

MX274 is not graprefruit its a blend of cookie or choclitini and grapefruit. Dont ask me why they decided to blend those two LOL

Tisha

Is the P74-based MX-series for women also the same scent?

Diane

HA! I knew it was something foody there  I like it!!!

No those are coconut blends. Steve told me he thought they all had the same scent but some smell like they have a little chocolate in them but not a lot, you can defiently smell the coconut.

Tisha

Cool, I hadn’t tried any of them yet. Chocolate and coconut… Nom… Nom… Nom…

Diane

Which MXs are P74 based?

Also, this is OT, but would you happen to know if there is TAL in MX300/MX134?

The Women’s P74 based MX’s are:

MX282
MX283
MX284
MX285
MX286
MX287

Diane

If you think of TAH as girly/feminine and TAL as strong/alpha…The mixes that contain one of them, or mainly one of them…

*IS/b - TAH *IS/a - TAL
*Mx135 - TAH *Mx134/300 -TAL

Does that make sense? This is why in my opinion it doesn’t make sense to use IS/a and IS/b together or to combine IS/a with Mx135 etc… You get big doses of both TAH and TAL so you send out mixed signals…

Great, thx Xiphoid!
