Product and dosage:
MX342 (p78 based womens mx), vanilla scented - 2 sprays, 1 to neck, 1 to wrists
Environment:
Doing errands around town, on foot. I’ve found that leaving the car at home and walking instead allows for many more possibilities for human interaction/reactions. Plus it saves on gas and provides exercise.
Self effects:
Halfway through my day (pheroless thus far) I decided to try MX342. Not long after, I felt slightly more energized and even pretty, even though I had not showered or washed my hair yet this day. Normally I would be more unhappy about this fact, but now, it didn’t bother me one bit.
Effects on others:
First stop, the hardware store to get a new battery for my pedometer. There was only one of the proprietors (a middle aged Japanese male), and a Caucasian male maybe in his 30’s with a small girl. No noticeable reactions, at least not that I could tell.
Next stop, post office. I checked my box and got a package slip, so had to go inside. In front of me in line was one older middle-aged (60’s?) Caucasian woman.
On an unmanned counter sat a purple Halloween pumpkin plastic thing (the kind with the black handle that kids sometimes use for trick-or-treating, though they’re usually orange), and the lady went over and looked in it (to see if there was candy in there!), then turned to me with a smile and said, “Bleh, only coffee candy. I wanted chocolate”. I smiled back and said that I didn’t care too much about coffee candy myself.
That lady did her business and left, then another lady around the same age went to stand at the purple pumpkin counter to write something. She picked up the pumpkin and offered it to me, but I smiled and said no thanks. She was happy, almost bubbly in her interaction with me. The first lady too, come to think of it.
Next stop, small grocery store. People were happy and smiley towards me. Interactions with store personnel were warm and cheerful as well.
Heading back towards home, I stopped at the small local (female) jeweler’s shop, who I’m kind of friends with a little. We don’t really hang out regularly or anything like that, but like and respect one another and are always glad to see one another. I needed to find some barrettes, or hair clips of some kind.
There was this very old lady in there who I had had as a patient, when she turned and saw me, she positively beamed. I chatted with them for a few minutes, then the jeweler found me some unadorned metal “barrette bases”, the kind you use to make barrette jewelry. She gave me four of them and refused to charge me.
As I was leaving, I asked the old lady if I could help her with any of her errands, as she had mentioned that she still had to go pick up her prescription (and she could barely walk, slowly and painfully). She said no, but mentioned that she could use my help crossing the street.
To my surprise, a fellow who was apparently helping her came in and they began to leave. I walked out with them, and started to go on my way since I saw that she didn’t need my help after all. However, she insisted that I take her other hand, and the three of us made our very slow way across the small street (cars all had to stop, and I teased her that she was naughty for jaywalking, lol), where he helped her into his truck and they left.
Continuing home, I passed by the small movie theater and paused for a second to look at the various event posters and “for sale” and “wanted” personal notes, etc. in the window.
This Caucasian guy who appeared to be in his early 30’s who was walking the same way as me caught up with me. I vaguely remembered seeing him on the other side of the street where I had been helping the old lady.
He mentioned that this blues legend from the 60’s, John Mayall was playing there next month and that he and his dad were going to go. And that I should go too, lol. I said my hours are too long, as it was on a Friday night, one of my 12 hour days. The guy then said, (soo transparently!) that my husband or boyfriend might object anyway (or something to that effect). I didn’t reply, as he had not asked me an actual question.
I think he thought I would automatically reply, oh, I don’t have a husband (or that I do, or whatever). He was obviously DYING to find out if I was single/available, and he finally did ask if I was married or had a bf, lol. When I said that I was not, I could then sense him working up to ask me to the event, but because I wasn’t sure how I felt about that, so I just smiled warmly and continued on my way before he could do so.
He wasn’t bad looking, but a little scruffy. He looked like the kind of guy who goes to Phish concerts and drinks beer and smokes a joint once in awhile, though not exactly a hippie type either.
Conclusion:
Happy, almost bubbly, cheerful camaraderie, reminds me of MX215. I felt like a “people magnet”, both male and female, young and old. More blatant effects on both myself and others than MX341 (at least this day, anyway). Further testing is required to see if these effects are consistent. I hope they are! ![]()
