MX350 summary

I’m running out of this so thought I’d type a brief summary of what I think I’ve found so far. I’ve tried to test this “blind” with only a cursory knowledge of what others have found with this, and it’s differently scented predecessor. It’s difficult to read the forum and not pick up some knowledge about the MX’s prior to testing however hard you try.

So my main info on this was that it was a potential attractant. I’m going to bullet point this for easy reading.

Me: Caucasian male, 6ft2, athletically built, friendly but can put out an intimidating vibe unintentionally

Spray quantities: 1 to 3. If 1 spray always side of neck, if 3 sprays then mostly 2 on neck and 1 on wrist

Self-Effects:

  • even at 1 spray I became serious. Not incapable of fun but very driven. If I was going down the gym I’d put in a pretty serious workout. If I was working it was like I had blinkers on to stop distraction until I’d achieved my task.

  • direct. Linked to the above, when dealing with people I made eye contact more than before and spoke my mind quicker. My thoughts seemed clearer too. It’s a “no messing about” frame of mind.

Effects on Others:

  • some IOI’s but nothing I’d put down as being 100% definitely mone influenced until I added in P83…I typed a report on this before and tested it again on more than one occasion but that combo almost got a bit embarassing with the level of blatant IOI’s and DIHL from women aged early 20’s to late 40’s and possibly older.

  • status. I get a big status reaction from this. I am aware this could be down to my projection of self with the self-effects but I think it is mone influenced too. I got all my money back in a printing store after bad service (they messed up my order) without even having to ask. I don’t think I even complained and the error didn’t deserve a full refund AND the goods which is what I got . Twice in fact I got refunds for bad service in places while wearing MX350. In a book store people made space for me to get to a shelf like I was Moses parting the Red Sea, at the gym people left machines when it was obvious I was seeing if they were free etc. It wasn’t like I was intimidating though and I didn’t get a sense reactions were negative.

  • it’s not an alpha vibe like A314. People don’t want me to lead them. It’s not a “cool” vibe like IG. People don’t want to help me or be around me. I think it’s a “lone wolf, this guy is going to get stuff done and we’d better not get in the way” vibe but not intimidatingly so.

So that’s my experience. I know all this will be subjective to an extent just because everyone will have different experiences due to their natural signature and all the other variables but I hope this is useful to someone.

Summary of the summary: to me, in contrast to what I’ve read in other reports, MX350 isn’t a major attractant. I can see though how that attitude and impression it gives off could be an attractant to some women and it’s possible my physical presence is a factor in putting people off. If I had more of it left I’d try it softened with some socials to see what happened.

To me, as a standalone, it is a seriousness mix - if I had a task to do today and it had to be done and involved being blunt with people / getting people to give me space to achieve it, I’d be going for 2 sprays of MX350.

Whoa, awesome, I could use some “seriousness” every now and then. Thanks for the report, dude!

So, ok. Question.

When you’re in “serious MX350 mode”, do you notice other people at all? Or are you like, all tied up in your own “get things done” thing? Are you like, in this work wormhole, where people just kinda whizz by you as you are out accomplishing stuff?

Oh! And does your perception of time shift at all? Like, do you et really into something and it feels like you’ve been at it for hours, but then you look at the clock and “Holy Sh***! Only 15 minutes went by??”

This sounds cool and useful. Does the non-intimidating “we better not get in the way” thing happen a lot when you’re wearing?

Who do you think would benefit by wearing this mix? Like, say, a manager who is too nice and therefore sometimes unproductive, or a personal trainer who just wants his clients to power through their reps, or .. you know. Use your imagination!

Oh, and what would you call it if it was a product?

Haha…
I like how you have “Summary of Summary”. Jeez, more people should summarize their summaries these days, huh? Haha… Maybe that’s another MX350 effect too.. Hahaha!!

I’m tied up in doing my own thing and have the blinkers on but it’s not in a negative way though - I’m not ignoring people or not noticing them I’m just focussed so they become a secondary consideration. I’m still picking up from them though and totally aware of their presence. It doesn’t make me rude or impolite in a store, I still make way for people, open doors, remember to say “excuse me” and whatever, I’m just brisk. If anything I’m more aware of their presence at times when I need to be. It’s just that I’m the man with places to go and things to do.

As for time perception…nothing noticeable. If anything in the opposite way with time flying as it tends to do anyway if I’m absorbed in work rather than slowing down like you describe.

The simplest way to describe it is just that it makes me work hard and focus on what I’m doing. That’s not at the expense of any other faculties though

It happens most times I think. But like I say in the original report that vibe might be in some part down to the self-effects. You can tell by someone’s posture and body language that they are in a hurry to get places / in the mood to just get on with things and it could just be that. I’m 6ft2, 220lbs and if I’m walking fast and focussed and with intent I’m probably quite hard to miss!

Who would benefit? Hmmm…a student who finds they are easily sidetracked maybe, people who have a lot to do and need to focus, people who get frustrated with the inefficiencies of others and just want to get through them to get things done and like you say, a manager who is too nice or too “wooly” in their approach.

It’s probably worth mentioning here that by nature I don’t often speak my mind in meetings but A314 and IG make me blast through all the nonsense and just get to the point. I’ve learned the art of interrupting without being rude to keep meetings on track even if I’m the most junior person there. MX350 had the same effect, I basically couldn’t be bothered to put up with people wasting time but not in a way that made me aggressive to them or in a way that made me insensitive to them. Its not even that it made me frustrated with them, because that’s too negative a word, but that’s the closest I can think of. In the way that A314 and IG give off “the man” vibes in different ways I think MX350 does it too. It’s “the man with a mission”.

As I’m reading this through it’s occurred to me that everything could be solely self-effects or related to the self-effects. It’d be interesting to see reports from people who have no self-effects from it to see if they have similar reactions from others.

Ha ha, maybe “Instant Bull in a China Shop” but that’s a bit too aggressive. “Instant Motivator” maybe. Or how about “Instant Cut the C*ap”?

And yeah, summarising summaries is a habit I picked up from my old manager. Any report that couldn’t be condensed to a paragraph wasn’t worth considering

Maybe moreso a feeling of being held back/bogged down as opposed to genuine frustration.

I know that feeling. Definitely in a mindset to not let small things obstruct your forward progress.

All in all this is an AWESOME report and I’m nominating for thread of the week because of the exchanged with Jasmin. Excellent excellent excellent!
