My husband's responses to my testing

Pheromone usage is a little like gourmet cooking, or painting, or writing a symphony, or anything else that is creative and purpose driven. So there are a lot of elements that go into choosing what you want to wear.

A pheromone like Est would be wasted with a man who is already protective and attentive and cuddly. Ditto for a motivational pheromone like P93 with someone who is already well organized and self-motivated. And Androstenone is terrible to use with someone who is irritable and intolerant and likes to fight. So, yes, you need to look at what you want to accomplish in the general and in the particular when you are choosing pheromones. But some pheromones, like the socials are good for just about anyone.

Just a note: Steve at Androtics is available during business hours to help walk you through products that will help you achieve what you are after. Steve is very experienced in pheromone usage and he is a real Godsend in that regard.

As for my husband, he is a pretty complex critter. He’s incredibly intelligent and a natural born leader. He is also stubborn, highly intolerant, and a perfectionist in many regards, and easy to anger. When irritated he can be highly irrational and nearly impossible to calm down – unless you can out-Alpha him. He’s also got a wicked (though somewhat naive) sense of humor. He’s very much goal-oriented and not very team oriented. He’s driven, artistic, impulsive, and very visually-oriented. He also has a kind heart and can’t pass by a person who is in distress without doing all that he can to alleviate the distress. He is not curious about much of anything that is not in his immediate environment. Even though he is not a tall man, he projects an aura of great physical presence wherever he goes. He’s a little impulsive and irrational regarding possessions and stuff. You ever hear the saying, “You can’t have everything… where would you put it?” He never worries about that … he wants it… he gets it. So he’s a a clutter bug. As complex as he is, he can come across as lacking in depth because he is more concerned with the here and now than anything deeply meaningful, and he is unburdened by any noticeable spiritual drive. He is, however, a religious man, with a very concrete belief system that adds to his drive for and honor of core traditional values. He loves deeply and loyaly and takes his responsibilities very seriously. He can blow through obstacles that others find insurmountable.

A less Alpha female than myself would be run over by him like a mac truck with no brakes on a steep hill.

If you are into this kind of thing: he is a 7th House Cancer Sun with Sagittarius rising and Moon in Gemini. He has a tight Grand Earth Trine in the 1st, 5th, and 9th Houses comprised of Jupiter in Capricorn, Mar in Taurus, and Pluto in Virgo, respectively. His 12th House is empty . He has a Yod comprised of the Moon and Uranus pointing to Saturn in Capricorn in the 2nd house.

great info here,diane
not having tried Est myself, what are your experiences around strangers wearing this?
my partner is NOT cuddly nor protective.
i figured it might be because he doesnt have reason to be, but now im wondering if it would foster those reactions with people who are not close to you as well.

Est is normally produced in women in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy when we really need to recruit others to help us. It is derived from Estradiol but has no known estragenic effects.

Out and about I see extreme concern and care-taking behavior from others, concern with my well-being. Alpha men and women think they know what is best for me, so a little disrespectful. I get lots of hand-patting and expressions of concern for my well being from just about anyone I talk to, and that aspect is really over the top.

I had one gay fellow sneer at me when I wore this, but I’m not sure if it was the Est. I was also wearing P83 and P93 that day. He acted as if I shouldn’t be out on my own, unsupervised, and was extremely disrespectful to me.

When I wear this pheromone out and about it affects nearly all men and women by inducing care-taking behavior. It gives high value, but low status from people other than my husband. People do not expect me to be self-sufficient in any way and are kind of shocked if I insist. Sometimes they will argue about it, but do so in both condescending and kind tones, like they are speaking to a child, and they won’t back down. I get this even from people I’ve known for quite a while,l who have previously been respectful to me.

This is the most consistent behavior inducing pheromone I’ve ever seen.

I’ve come to the conclusion that what I smell after dry down and what my husband probably dislikes is Alpha Androstenol. I don’t know if anyone else has this problem, but to me it has a smell very akin to Androstenone that is very strong.

According to some posts I’ve read Lust After Me contains 20.0 mcg Alpha Androstenol per drop. That is enough to set my teeth on edge with the smell.

But I’ve never heard that it is a sticky molecule, so I’m pretty surprised I couldn’t wash it off with soap.

Any feedback?

Diane

i can honestly say that i have used androstenol in a miriad of mixes and products and never had issues removing it or any known sensitivities in the form of odd remarks or complaints…
which in no way negates your experience.
i am wondering however if your issue is with something acidic/corrosive , something that attaches itself to skin might be something oily and acidic.
for smell that doesnt wash off easily and/or is difficult to cover i would think its the copulins.

:o

Yeah, except that I wear EOW at full strength and I never have issues with smell after dry down. And I do have a to go of Alpha Androstenol, which I just recently sprayed on a paper towel to test… and the smell is awful! And yeah, that is what I smell after dry down with Lust After Me… hence, the conclusion that it is the Alpha Androstenol that stinks in Lust After Me.

I love Ylang, Ylang, btw. But that dissipates really fast with LAM.

Have I told you lately what a testing Goddess you are, Diane? I love reading your posts! They are so informative, and you’re so creative with your blends!

Thank you!

Regarding the smell issue… I just realized something. I’ve posted before that Est greatly enhances my ability to smell things, particularly my husband’s pheromone signature on his body and breath. Since I wear Est every day almost, this might be the issue.

Diane

Treating husband as guinea pig, nice …

that’s really interesting given EST’s relationship to pregnancy, when the sense of smell becomes so acute. I’ve not worn EST as often as other things (guess I’m saving it for special occasions since it’s so $$) but maybe I should. On a daily basis, do you wear the small doses we talked about earlier, 10 mcg or ?? I wonder what kind of daily dose would enhance olfaction.

I find nols very pleasant to smell. LAM doesn’t smell of nol to me, and I do smell cops in it of course, but (to me) the worst, longest lasting and strongest part of its smell is the ylang. There are different grades of ylang (some are wonderful, others rather unpleasant) and possibly ylang + the other components is making a stink.

I don’t smell any cops in LAM.

I noticed the enhanced smell at around or above 75.0 mcg. Mostly I wear just over 65.0 mcg almost daily now.

Diane

Your kidding what scent did you get yours in. ? It has alot of cops in it. Its Androtics big cop formula. There is anol but not nearly as much.

I can smell the cops in it no matter what cover I buy it with. I have it in Neroli, Ylang Ylang, Grapefruit, but my favorite is chocolitini. I can get away with not using extra cover with this one but not the others.

Anol on its own smells ok to me but IO smells like dirty feet.

Everyone perceives the scent of mones a little different though.

Tisha

Tisha, instant openness smells like dirty feet to you? Even with the neroli? :open_mouth:

lol, I thought instant openness smelled pretty good…or maybe my nose is just dead lol

LOL. My kinda girl. Smelly jogging shoes and sweaty work-out clothes are not a problem with her … :stuck_out_tongue:

Seriously - like I said all I smell is the neroli with the IO.

I like it too, Selva - and I REALLY like P103, it smells awesome~!

If you are having trouble washing of the pheros especially oil based ones I find Dr. Broners peppermint soap is amazing. I wash down with it every night to remove unwanted work pheros and fragrances.

Whewww April good tip. Thanks
