I am 26, straight male. My best “male” friend (for 12 years) has just recently told me that he had a crush on me for a while and that he had been using Primal Instinct (the female version) to attract me.
I did notice a strange (attractive) scent whenever he is around. but what I am concerned about is his health. I was wondering what negative effect using a product intended for females would have on him.

No. If worn by a woman it could increase (not cause) attraction in men who are attracted to women; it would be too incongruent, smelling it on a man. Even if you were attracted to men, you wouldn’t be attracted to a man who smelled like a woman.
I do have strong feelings for him, but not in that way. but since he told me that he had a crush on me. I felt hurt, but I know he was hurting more. I never showed him any negative signs nor do I feel uncomfortable around him. I love him to death. I know that he is Bi, nd not completely gay, but if he wants to be gay, then its not my decision to make. but I would point him in the right direction.
