I’m not sure where my Instant Female Magic/w is. I ordered a to-go. I can’t find it in my order but have one to-go that is unlabeled. I figured that must be it. It smells like coconut to me, not that I can smell much right now. I have both a really bad case of the flu AND a stellar, obsessing case of PMS. Would you believe my order came the day I got sick? I can’t even hardly smell anything!
Whatever this stuff is, I like it. I swear it made me feel better when almost nothing else did.
Unfortunately, I had a stressful deadline situation at work this week so I had to keep going. Yesterday, I drug myself in sick and sprayed myself with P79 and TAF (3 sprays each) in an effort to wring some focus from my hacking, cold-medicated, PMS’ing self already stressed over the important scary project that had to be finished and wasn’t going well.
I also added the unidentified object believed to be IFM/w (4 sprays). I felt all my symptoms lighten by afternoon and the improvement lasted. I repeated today and continue to improve. I am still wrung out but I am getting better much faster than most of the rest of walking wounded (and we are legion here). Could be coincidence…but I didn’t even take anything today and I am not totally stuffed or hacking constantly.
But, does IFM/w smell like coconut? I just want to be sure. My daughter is terribly ill with the same thing today and I just sprayed her with it in hopes it would soothe her. She is at least sleeping now.

I have tried IFM in both the unscented and the herbal additive version. Neither one smells like coconut. The herbal additive smells kind of like clary sage plus pheromones (androstadienone). The unscented one smells very odd - my husband compares it to goat piss but I really find it compelling (I like it). It’s kind of a sweet musky male BO scent.
I do have a To-Go that smells like coconut. It’s MX212 which has 10.375 mg of alpha androstenol and 10.375 mg of TAA. So it’s kind of like Instant Shine, in other words. Maybe you got that? although the PMS relief you describe is very much what IFM does, so … better ask Jasmin what you got! maybe you got IFM with coconut?!
I also have MX212 and it smells like coconut but different - can definitely smell the 'nol in that one.
This doesn’t smell strong, odd, like goat pee or like clary sage to me (I don’t like clary sage, no matter how good it should be for me, I’ve tried!). But maybe my smeller is wrecked.
Guess I will have to ask Jasmine as I have no idea what I have here.
Dang, if it’s NOT IFM/w, then it’s something I like and I don’t know what it is.
I don’t like clary sage much either, and I don’t like the herbal additive in IFM. I greatly prefer the unscented IFM.
Hmm..I do not think its Instant Female Magic,its most probably MX212.Jas said they are unable to add any fragrance to IFM as it contains A1.This is considered an inventive step which has already been patented by the bloody makers of realm whose product contain just enough A1 to spray on an ant.This is another serious issue of bio-patenting and raises the same ethical issues as gene patenting.
Well its totally ok for us consumers and individuals to get some nice smelling sweet EOs to add to Instant Female Magic if you find its scent not to your liking.
I imagine that irritating patent will run out, eventually? Do we know when?
A patent is usually quite long,more than 25yrs?
Most probably our patience will run out faster than the patent..
Whoa, I don’t think so…unless it depends on the type of product. There would never be generic medications if all patents lasted 25 years. Some might, though.
Well we have to add EOs to our IFM or use coverscents for the time being then.
