Okay, I’ve said this earlier…when i was home visiting family, I didn’t feel the need to wear mones, …i mean very little…in 3 months I wore it twice, becuase i went out on two days.
So I’ll be heading to nashville/Only, TN…to Victor Wooten Bass/Nature Camp for 6 days. A list of people who will be teaching there, include Victor Wooten, Chuck Rainy, Anthony Wellington, Adam Nitti, Roy Vogt, Marcus Miller, Stanley Clarke, Bela Fleck
If you’re not a bass player you probably don’t know who these people are..let’s just say they are arguably the best musicians/bassist ON EARTH…the list goes on…basically 20 students plus the instructors and special guests out in nature 24/7 learning music..playing bass, whilst learning camping hking type stuff..Im gonna be in the cabins as I don’t carry a tent around here in NYC, so I wont really be in the elements too much.
This would be a great time to do some test as I’ll be around a “certain level” of celebrity/talent/high status people…
BUUUUUT…at the same time it’s be a great time to go mone free and be in nature…
But I love the stuff. so i’ll be bringing p76, A314, IS, p74, IH…with me. Prolly be the only guys that smells good the whole trip
But bonding and making an impression on these men, i think will serve my life and career in ways most musicians can’t even imagine.

A quick google of those names shows me they’re a bit older than you.
I’d consider taking your IG if I were you, I’ve found that and A314 really gets senior people trying to take you under their wing.
Wait your saying you find that A314 makes senior people take you under their wing?..Yeah I think A314 then is the right one…No ones wing Id like to be under more than these men…im 34 but yeah they been playing 45 years…
I was once extremely fortunate to be given a backstage pass to a Radiohead concert…I wore IG (and only IG) and can tell you I was “accepted” a lot more by them (in terms of having them talk a lot more to me, refer to me as a “cool” guy, introduce me to a couple of their groupies, invite me to some afterparty they were going to etc…), of course, the A314 would have gotten the respect (and tons of it) but I do think that they would have been a lot more reserved in my company.
Think of it like this:
A314: Music producer, agent, manager etc…
IG: Band member

I’m hoping there is at least 2 or so cute bass girls. But I’m expecting it to be “a mantastic bass fest”
@ps86651:…Yes I hear where you’re coming from. I’ve also noted when wearing IG as my base, I get respect, lets seriousness. There in lies the A314 vs IG thing Ive always had…something about wearing IG…feels great, but just not A314…hmmm now you got me on the fence. I might bring both then.
I think the products that you are taking are perfect for this. The only one I question is IS, but that’s for personal reasons. P76, IH, A314, and P74 should be killer.
I discussed this in the celebrity thread. A314 you may not be able to pull of with celebrity types as you may not be able to bring to the table what you’re claiming to bring. A more social mone like IH and yeah something like IG may just be better.
I’ve dealt with a lot of celebrities over the years, and they leave very protected and sheltered lives. People always want and take from them, it is my suggestion you come as you are. A genuine person who is open and willing to learn and not “alpha.”
Happytappin may be an excellent bassist, but this is like going to a basketball hero camp and playing with Jordan. Do you honestly think you can out “alpha” Jordan on his turf?
I’d start off with IO and IS, move into IH and IG as the days progress.
