I didn’t know where else to ask this so I’ll just give it a shot here.
I got Ammo about 6 months ago and absolutely loved the effects it had, and the smell was addictive. I just got a couple new bottles of Ammo today and they smell completely different from the one I had, and I have to say I really don’t like the change in odor. Did the formula change? will the effects be any different?

The original Ammo smelled like Nautica Competition for years. About 2 years ago, maybe a little less, they changed the scent to a sour citrus fruit scent. I think they called it game. There was a bunch of new scent test batches, and I think an MX series, and another new scent appeared. Sorry I don’t know what it’s called but it is very strong–stronger smelling than game–and reminds me of scented soap.
I really liked the original Ammo scent from several years ago but they say it’s never coming back. If you don’t like the current scent you may be able to pay extra for a custom scent package of nothing and cover with your own cologne.
FF21 is the new “official” default scent. To me it smells like detergent. You still have the option of choosing a different scent package, but I don’t know how it affects cost. I will say that I personally don’t like the scent and I think it lingers for way too long, but women don’t seem to mind it, for whatever strange reason. And hey, they’re the reason I’m wearing it so who cares if I like it

there you can find Ammo in FF22 world edition ..
should smell nicer like the FF21

How well it smells is a very individual thing. I believe they chose F21 over the others because that seemed to get a thumbs up by most woman. After all I wear the stuff to attract the ladies. I happen to like F21 over F22, but both are nice. I really like the way F21 dries down and smells better and better the longer it is worn.
I tried standard scent ammo and I was like “Holy shit the reviews were right, it DOES smell like bar of Irish Spring in a box of Tide detergent!” But low and behold the females around me absolutely loved it. They actually liked the scent better than any other cologne I usually use Including Sean John’s Unforgivable, Cool Water, or Bvlgari Black. Even women that the mones weren’t really affecting seemed to really like it just for it’s scent as a cologne. Go figure.
I totally agree with Reddog. It may smell worse at first but it smells AMAZING when it dries down.
