Tmoz, you make a great point. One caveat though is that the Ammo test pack is aimed (and priced) directly at reporting users. I don’t think they are as sensitive to hype as a group. At least I hope not.
Kudos for again mentioning the MX271-273 series. Maybe Amy and April could threaten to put cooties in the next orders of folks who have these but haven’t tried 'em and reported on 'em yet LOL.

Not enough positive results (posted anyway), and not enough testers. it’s a shame, but i hope that the p83 pack will be better. i own the p74 test pack and reported on a few of the mxs and plan to buy this new pack once released and report on these as well.
Well, it is also fall, which for a lot of people means work ramps up, or they have school. Now, I don’t know about you, but when I’m working through the night on some big project, pheros are the least of my worries. So it could be the change in the season has left a lot of people busy, and just looking at my own experiences, I only really wore new pheros 3 or 4 times in the last 3 weeks, opting to either go clean or use a subtle a314 mix
I tried 276 a little bit, and I think this has potential. but I’m holding off on my reports until I get a better feel for it, or test the whole pack.
273 sold like hot cakes after a bunch of people praised it, and I want to make sure that if one of these turns out really good, that I can get some more for myself before praising it to the world.
I think people might have too high of expectations for this pack as well. I think toning down ammo to make it a commercial product is a really good idea. the current ammo is too brash. 276 is very smooth, and has a definite universally positive affect. It’s just not “BOOM, ammo”
I don’t think it should really be called ammo, because people are expecting the same thing out of it. Rather it seems to impart a really “cool” vibe to it. Basically what I’d expect out of a p74 centered mix.
There’s a lot here that I agree with and some not so much. Usually I’ll get a pre-release sample of the product and so will some of the reporting users. Having seasoned vets report before anyone else does is a good way to create “tension.”
I always have believed that by releasing it early to a select group of researchers then those researchers can give it a fair shake without influence from anyone else. I love being the first to try something and get a feel for it and then being able to compare notes with other seasoned experimenters. Sometimes I get completely different reactions and then sometimes I am right on target.
On that same note though I also hold back a lot because I don’t want to bias someones testing research. If I don’t like something I would hate for that to unduly influence another researcher to not like something based on my test results.
It’s like the woman’s mix pack that came out. I had great reactions with it and it was very interesting for me to observe my own reaction while someone else was wearing it. Although now there are women whose results appear to be opposite from mine, I still believe that even though social it creates a sexual tension that if worked properly can bring about fantastic results.
I do agree, at least in my own circumstances, that there just isn’t enough time for me to test everything to the extent that I like to test. Not that I couldn’t test everything haphazardly, but I like to be thorough. So much so that I test each product for weeks. I mean really, really test stuff. I try to keep very detailed journals of everything.
I think that there are members who certainly could do a better job though. I do try to post my reports on a new product. With the Ammo pack there was no pre-release it was just there and while I liked it, I wasn’t personally thrilled with it either. I thought it to be a good product, but didn’t have that oomph that I wanted. It needs tweaking, but I don’t believe that should stop anyone from trying something.
I agree with Steve, I really dont think people should decide to test a mix based on the positive feedback a product gets or vice versa.
Mones are not a one size fits all kinda product. A product may work great for one person and not for another. Probably due to your natural mone signature and chemical makeup
This is where it gets important to see the positive and the neg feedback. Suppose a group of 12 people get the ammo test pack and 6 of them have good results and 6 of them dont. By each person reporting in detail they can look for the pattern. Perhaps there is a reason why it works for the first 6 testers and not the rest. Age, Race Ect ect, they can compare these things and the information helps them know what direction to take to improve the mix.
Like SteveO, I often hold back on my reporting because I dont want to influence others.
So its fine to look up what each one should do but keep in mind the results dont have to be the same as mine or Steve’s or anyone else’s. They have to be true to what you experience.

Sometimes it is just “busy”. This is the first time I’ve even had a chance to take a quick look at the Forum since last week. I’ve even got a report from last Friday I haven’t had a chance to post yet (hopefully tomorrow, and unfortunately negative 
).
I don’t either. But there’s nothing anyone can do about it. The trade-off for the ability to test out a new product, is money. And that’s what happens when business is mixed with research; even though Androtics is an ideal example of how the two can be mixed, in the end it’s not completely a real study as well as not having any real blinds involved. I’d rather not get too much into depth about it, but the point is that in the end all that’s happening is people are buying products at a discounted price in return for feedback. And since majority of the people aren’t research driven, they’d rather shell out money on things that are proven or rumored to work, than try something unknown or mediocre resulting reports.
I don’t know how to properly get into this.. but what I can say is that I find myself lacking to report negative results more than anything. Sure, no one wants to influence others, but I don’t do it for the intent that I feel it pushes users away from actually purchasing the product. It’s sort of a catch 22, as a reporting user, I do feel obligated to report; but as a part of community and wanting to push research I’d rather not push users away by negatively reporting on a product.
However, outside of you two and the rest of the Androtics team, I’m a believer that all people should be inclined to at least give an initial report. Even if only to jump start interest into the rest of the community about that particular new product. I also believe in drawing conclusions about the mixes, and posting about them in threads that may warrant it (Like this one! wink). For the simple fact that some degree of placebo does obviously exist, and if a user has a placebo mindset when trying out a new product that he/she read about, it’s even better to take their word for it after they’re done with their trials. Why? Because most people aren’t stupid (ok maybe a few of us are), and after repeated usage they’ll realize their experiences don’t correlate well with what they’re experiencing; and when the actual results after countless trials do vary from the placebo effects they thought they’d receive, they definitely make firm note of it and post about it.

Jasmin.. hate to bring up an old thread, but was reading around because I didnt know about the ammo launch, and so searching for ammo launch brought me to this, then I find this post about pherobomb.. Did anything ever come of that? I tried to search and I didnt really find what I was looking for, rather people who used the word pherobomb as to refering to a massive dosage.. Maybe I am too new here and wasnt around for this? Just curious…

im kinda new at things also but pherobomb hasnt came out yet. its still in development but from what ive been told its comming out sooner or later of course its going to me mx*** befor its anywhere near consumer line
