Got an odd e-mail, tho: “Your order has been initiated. You need to finish transaction before the order is placed for processing.”
Not sure how one goes about finishing a transaction – it’d probably be easier after a bit of TuTH – but when I checked on the site, it showed a “processing” status, so I guess I’m ok.
In the meantime, I wonder if it’s possible to OD on the forums.

So, I’m wondering a few things:
Do I need something to cover the smell of any of these: instant shine, instant honesty, instant openness, instant female magic, or ammo?
Like, I think I’ve read a few posts about at least IFM spelling like cat pee. (Is IFM really Sex Panther? That’d be awesome. I hear that 60% of the time, that stuff works every time.)
If Ammo’s “cologne strength”, is it something I could use as a “cover scent” for other stuff, or would that make me smell like a used diaper filled with Indian food?
Are the to-go sprays of Ammo shipping right now the “Ammo” scent or the “Game” scent? And what’s the difference?
If it’s “game”, will Ammo clash with any of the other instants?
If I need a cover scent, what would make sense for someone who hasn’t worn cologne since high school and doesn’t want to smell like he’s obviously wearing cologne? (Failing that, would polo get along well with everything?)
Everyone’s nose is different. Speaking for myself, I find Instant Shine’s smell is wonderful. I don’t think it needs any cover. Can’t comment on the others, except Ammo, which has a masculine cologne smell. I think I got the classic ammo, I don’t know what “the game” smells like.
Meanwhile, I have trolled the Parfum threads and then prowled eBay for some of the fragrances recommended as “the kind of scent that smells like you just got out of the shower” in this thread here: Advice Plz
Got various tiny samples of Creed stuff, Bond No.9 Riverside Drive, and GEIR - The Power of Norway (which is possibly an even funnier name than sex panther, so I just had to get it).
Never heard of any of these products before today, so the forum’s been quite a learning curve.
I wonder how many of the positive effects people are reporting come from experimenting with really good cologne, as opposed to the 'mones.
Then again, maybe the effects caused by cologne are actually from 'mones. Wikipedia claims that “Androstadienone has a strong odor of sweat and is commonly sold in male fragrances, purportedly to increase sexual attraction.” Isn’t that the special goodness in IFM?

I just sprayed a little instant openness on my wrist (1 spray, then rubbed wrists together), and I sniffed a couple times, and now I’m typing with exclamation marks!
And giggling!
I had just eaten maybe 20 min. before, so it’s not an empty stomach effect. ah, no longer giggling, but still in a decent mood. maybe just an unusually strong reaction to the alcohol fume?
I like the initial scent. Seems like it’ll be nice fresh out of the shower with no cover. We’ll see what it smells like in 20 min, tho.
I stopped smelling myself about 10 min. ago, but just re-sniffed to see how the scent develops. Still lovely. Kind of a light citrus/floral fragrance. Not exactly manly, but not too feminine, either.
Clearly has no pieces whatsoever of real panther in it. Maybe a bit or two from one of Santa’s elves, though.
I could see spraying this in my hair. Might also be interesting on the back of the knee when it’s shorts weather.
Yeah this mainly from the neroli scent this citrus you sniff. At the back of knees it won’t be so good because it is better when it is nearer to the nose
Good point, but let’s say you’re at a beach lying head to toe with someone, or with a physical therapist or massage therapist where their nose is going to be closer to your knees than your own nose is. I suspect the back of the knees will make it easier to tell if any effects observed are a result of the pheromones themselves, as opposed to a feedback to self-effects. (Like, when you smile/yawn/laugh, other people tend to smile/yawn/laugh. So it may be that the self-effects from 'mones, if apparent to others, actually lead to observable effects in others.)
Meanwhile, another observation:
I might have actually put on Shine instead of Openness. I was sniffing at both bottles at the same time, and I’m not sure which one I sprayed.
Interestingly, there was a bit of an almost-headache after a bit. I could feel something like tightness in my lower forehead (um, the lower part of my forehead, not the forehead of my lower part). Eventually, that gave way to a mild actual headache on the left side of my head. I believe others have reported headaches from Shine, not sure about Openness.
Took a couple grams of piracetam with a big glass of water and a tab of lecithin. Cleared it up within 3 or 4 minutes. (Piracetam boosts oxygen flow to the brain, or helps the brain cope when there’s less oxygen – can’t remember which. Lecithin helps replenish choline levels. I think I read somewhere that various headaches are caused by either too little oxygen or too little choline.)
