ODing on Instant Honesty, what happens?

How’d you think alcohol factors into Instant Honesty usage? Even worse verbal diarrhoea?

Your kidding, really ?

Do you think this only effects you as the user or do you think it could effect those exposed in the same way.

I find that to much IH makes people lose that barrier in the brain. I know they have a name for it I just cant think of it. The barrier that stops us from saying anything that pops into our heads to perfect strangers whether good or bad. I dont really get verbal diarrhea from people but sometimes its just to much info. I get more of the verbal diarrhea with IO. Just speaking for the sake of speaking.

Hell you dont want to be deeply or intimately connected to everyone LOL

I found with a few female friends if I wear to much around them they can become sort of clingy or dependant.

Its still one of my favorite mixes its just like anything else though to much of a good thing can turn bad.

Tisha

I find with high levels of nol i (and whoever i’m talking with) feel sleepy and a bit spaced out, IH in particular.

With IO (and IH i guess) you pretty much get the life story of people (as said above, more so with people who can talk for hours on end anyway).

It’s not always a good thing to have somebody blab on about themselves. I mean, it’s polite to show interest in people but when your taxi driver starts telling you all about his divorces, previous jobs, children, the business idea he once had, regrets, how his parents messed him up, why his ex wives are such golddiggers, where his cat likes to be stroked etc it takes quite a lot of self control not to strangle them (i kid of course). But it is tiring to keep up sometimes.

People are often more social and open when they’ve had a few so i’m going to yes haha :stuck_out_tongue:.

Exactly why I’m so apprehensive about using IH in situations wherein I don’t yet have an absolutely rock-solid positive rapport with the target.

Something I’ve been wondering about regarding IH… does it have the potential to make the target more honest with themselves about what they really think of you - and perhaps reinforce that feeling, negative or positive? That could be a very good - or very bad - thing…

I also wonder if this mix can sort of fool the target into thinking they are closer with you than they might be. “Wow… I’m telling him all of this personal stuff”… therefore, “I must be comfortable with him”… therefore, “I must like him.”

In my opinion, shouldn’t that be some sort of blessing if the target is being more honest with you? Given first impressions and such, if there were some sort of slight indicators of negative affect then he or she would display it in the first place. Better than faking interest and dropping a bomb on you the next day I suppose.

In some parts, yes I think that IH can fool the target into establishing better interpersonal relationships. I remember when I was hanging out with my girlfriend (but we didn’t date each other back then) she would share a bunch of stuff that an average guy couldn’t know (and turns out she only shared with people that she was close with). Me being the average joe and not fitting this criteria she somehow put two and two together and eventually placed me as a “close” person.

Sometimes the effects are blatant like a big ass pimple on your nose. Other times it’s sneaky like a silent ninja in the night.

My experience of IH has been that the primary effect is to promote an increased sense of closeness, and increased verbal honesty is a secondary effect. I suspect that beta-nol may be primarily an entactogen (from the Latin root tactus - makes me think about what Tacitus would have to say) and that alpha-nol is primarily an associogen. The two together at varying ratios, as in IO and IH, produce varying degrees of felt and expressed closeness. I’ve got some 50mcg/spray betanol coming soon so I can test this theory.

Beta-nol may not be overtly sexual, but that feeling of closeness can lead it that way.

Add some -none to it and watch just how blatant some of the hits are. Look at mixes like MX301 that combine the two, they just work great together.
