Not really - Its more a matter of semantics about describing the effects. I usually try my very best to avoid attributing “comforting” effects to P96 because people tend to assume these are just the same as more established comfort/moderation/connection pheros like A1, P74, Alphanol, Betanol etc - Wheras P96 “comfort” is a very different thing indeed and IME very much on the emotional level.
With P83, its physical disinhibition can manifest itself in several forms and if you don’t initiate, a sort of disjointed/staccato chatter, is often a prelude to your subject getting physical or a sign that the subject is getting the effects but not knowing how to handle them. Also think-on how some women can suddenly get incredibly chattery/fidgety in final-stage LMR.
Also bear in mind that there are a vast range of effects attributed to P83 as a result of overenthusiastic/undiscriminating reporting. You need to strip these back to get at what it really does.
Wow nice report. I agree as P96 doesn’t hit as hard as other things and I am still testing this one myself. I tested with 2 drops A314 5 mcg P74 and 5mcg P79. The mix with the P79 was ok but nothing to special for a work mix. Now when I paired with P74 and A314 it was a great work mix. Everyone was connected to me on a whole nother level I couldn’t believe how powerful P96 became when paired with P74. I wore 2 parts P96 10 mcg to 1 part P74 5 mcg. There was an unexplainable emotional connection from all age, race, and gender from everyone I came in contact to. I got amazing respect emotional hits. I have a way to go with testing this P96 but it looks very promising. As a standalone I wore up to 20 mcg and noticed I was happy but not much more than that. I find that pairing it with something really brings it alive.
In my experience with p96, I wouldn’t call it a mental disinhibitor. I’d call it more of an emotional stimulator. Just enough of it, and you’re making puppy-dog eyes at each other. Too much of it, and the more emotionally vulnerable people in the room will be sobbing into their tissues. I like using it with IH to try and stabilize the emotional effect, and p130 helps to steer it away from the effects of personal stress. But DON’T use it in an environment when emotional engagement isn’t safe/appropriate!
I’ve also heard from some of the guys that p96’s emotional effects can be a bit castrating. So read up/experiment on that so you don’t negate your own goals.
If it’s an emotional stimulator as you say, then it would make sense and go in line with what SteveO says about it being a bridge pheramone. In most any mix if i understand him correctly, he infers that any mix may have a scale of where each pheromone sits. He uses the idea that say a mix has rone, a-nol, and eNone where scale wise it could be something like 3, 6 and 8 for any kind of arousal (just an example of course), P96 comes and smooths it out By filling in the 1, 2, 4, 5, and 7. He says that either more or less may be needed. To me it seems that it does buffer eNone, and if anything buffers another phero, it has the ability to disinhibit to a certain degree, by way of smoothing out what would otherwise be a blunt In your face vibe, to a more subtle vibe, no less powerful, just not as apparent. To me, it makes people giggle, but it holds conversation very well with women, its also a conversation starter with men i may somewhat know opening me up. Kind of gives off an a-nol/b-nol vibe to it though as conversation could either be shallow small talk or deep conversation depending on how you steer it. Definitely a social putative. Not much in the way of stares, but definitely has hits nonetheless in a different fashion than one would normally be looking for. And i forgot who said it either in this forum or pherotruth, but it has a disarming quality to it where people are more easily persuaded. If i had to pinpoint how this happens, i would say that it has a type of effect where because it can hold attention with deep conversation, a person hangs on what you say, and if explained properly, this leads to a degree of trust, which other forum members here or over on ptalk also mentioned. Definitely an emotional effect though just from my observation in the real world. Powerful putative i nust say. Definitely more testing needs to be done before i gove any final words on it.
I would lower the P83 dose in combination with P96. (ratio 1:2)
I think None has generally no synergy with P96, gives me a wimpy feeling, I would prefer some Rone. Maybe worsk TUTH better as with None alone because it’s a complex mix…
