I decided to wear P97 for the first time when I went out to a public lecture on an economics topic.
I wore 50mcg, which seems to be toward the higher end of the range that others have tried. When I first put it on, it made me feel very alert. I felt that way all evening. On this first wearing, it did not feel at all sensual. I definitely noticed which women were good looking. It did not impair my people watching. At 50mcg, it did seem a little too tense, too verbal to be romantic. I expect it would be distracting for such purposes. Perhaps, in much smaller doses, it could be helpful for initiating a conversation with an attractive woman.
I had a couple of conversations, which tended toward the political. It was that kind of a topic, economics and environmentalism. Words came to me easily. It was clear what I wanted to say. There was wine and cheese and I had half a glass of wine, which, during the experts’ presentations dulled my senses enough to be quite annoying. I think it was the enhanced desire for clear verbal thinking that made me regret even the small amount of wine.
Afterwards, I was accosted by this middle aged woman, who it turns out has a very liberal perspective. We had a cordial discussion, where she had a hard time finding areas of basic disagreement, though I kept pointing out the flaws of her specific examples. Finally, she begins insisting that Obama is bipartisan. I mean, one can rationally argue that America needs Obamacare and the Democrats had to take a advantage of the rare majority in both houses to quickly ram this through and save the healthcare system. I couldn’t disagree more with that position, but there is a rational. To say that Obama is bipartisan is not even sane.
I apologize for digressing. I’ve lived long enough to have had lots of political conversations. I know that at a certain point people just have to agree to disagree. This is the first time in my life that people cannot even agree to disagree! I was talking a couple of weeks ago to an intelligent middle-aged, white man on topics that ranged from the mundane to political assassinations, Kabbalah, Aleister Crowley and the Golden Dawn. When I suggested that Obama should just release the long form of his birth certificate, he called me a racist! I pointed out that McCain had been born in the Canal Zone and their were questions about his eligibility, which had been fully vetted before the election. Were those inquiries racist? I mean you could make the argument that the “natural born citizen” requirement is petty, outdated and should not be used to deprive us of a great leader like Obama. I, of course, would disagree with such an argument, but there is a coherent rational.
Both of these people have held sensitive, high-level government positions, one in DoD, one in Homeland Security. They are capable of discussing a wide range of controversial and esoteric topics in a manner that is both interesting and rational. On certain rare tropics, they abruptly go into this zombie-like trance and start spewing talking points, impervious to reason or civil discussion. I am actually starting to wonder if the government has begun implanting sensitive employees’ brains with microchips or something.
Anyway, I left the venue of the economics lecture talking to myself. The initially rational woman had succeeded in driving me to distraction. When I got home, it was hard to relax and get to bed at a reasonable hour. The P97 seems to have been overstimulating. I won’t wear that much at night again.
