OK, let me think for a second here.
When creating the chart, I went back to the very first post made on this board and moved forward to the present day, copying and pasting all details of any simple mixes and their effects into a Word file, under a heading of Sexual, Dating, Social or Business.
I also took note of what effects were reported with the single products.
It eventually got too much to be of any use, and so I came up with the idea of throwing it all together into a colour-coded chart. The pheromone grid was born.
Unfortunately, I didn’t make any note of who said what and when. Nor did I copy and paste the web address of each post that I took data from. Simply too much work for a project that I thought would take a few hours, and was already consuming my Christmas holiday. All I have is a line in a file saying, Sexual: Ammo, IS.
Someone, somewhere, somewhen reported that effect. Someone else must have backed up those findings, because I gave more weight to a mix if another user reported copying the mix and getting identical effects.
What may have been an oversight is that I didn’t record the concentration or strength of pheros used. That Ammo / IS combo could have been 3 Ammo and 1 IS. It could have been 2 shots Heavy Ammunition and one IS double-strength. This was because I couldn’t find a way to record the different concentrations used in the grid. The work would have increased exponentially if I had tried, increasing the chances of making a big error.
No mention was made of which Ammo version was used, therefore there is no “Ammo version 1.0” and “Ammo version 1.5” in the chart. Frequently, posters say something along the lines of, “RAWR, this mix got me laid! It’s got Ammo in it” without giving the version number. That happens a lot and besides, both versions are advertised as giving you the Ammo to “hit her down there.” That’s sexual.
If enough posters believe the chart needs a change, I will of course change it, and I hope it doesn’t cause too much inconvenience to novice users chasing the reported effects. I’ll then drop a line to Jasmin, asking her to redirect the link from the old chart to the new.
Tried my best, guys. I hope it’s been more useful than detrimental to the phero community.
